This is the opposite of adding variety. This is one spell/staff combo taking over the meta for a lot of end game magic pvm.

It's important that was action feedback changes following the release of larger content updates to ensure the quality matches player expectations. If we did nothing, then players may feel forced into waiting until the changes have been made before experiencing the content, and that's never fun when something new and exciting has been released.

We've been continuing to revisit old content and make changes where possible, this can be seen in our larger polls such as the recent Poll 75. We will always listen to player feedback, sorry if some changes come slower than you would like to see them.

In certain pieces of PvM content like Nightmare, the Harmonised Staff is worth using because other spellbooks were not as useful. Sang staff is a one of our best staves, lets pretend its damage is 10. Harmonised staff is even better damage, lets say its 11. But now Thralls offer quite a lot of damage at most pieces of content now, lets say damage is 2.

Because you can use sang and thralls together, and you can't use harm + thralls together , that means generally now its better to just use sang + thralls (12) instead of using the Harmonisd Staff at 11. Although the Harmonised Staff is still technically a better magic weapon, because you can't use thralls with them it suffers in viability and some players feel it's dead content at Nightmare where it was used a lot.

I don't understand this one, the Arceuus Spellbook is also a weapon you can equip? You can't use Harmonised Staff with the new Spellbook?

I don't think it's fair to remove an existing meta of bones from hellhounds/bloodvelds converting to prayer just because abyssal demon/necryael barraging distorts this advantage significantly. Allow Ash to restore prayer but give it a cool down of sorts that matches the speed of your typical melee kill in afk prayer gear.

Interesting idea and one that we have briefly considered when it came to discussing feedback today. We came to the agreement that adding a cooldown for Prayer XP feels a little bit strange - it's not something we've really done before, feels a little forced. Plus the benefits of the Ash Sanctifier have already received feedback that it might be too strong. We're open to what the community thinks, and we'll use this post to review further player feedback on it.

Yeah. Although most players I've seen feel it is absolutely fine, we admit we didn't make it clear enough in the blog and so we would feel more comfortable re-polling it to preserve the integrity of the polling system.

We'll do better in future to communicate XP rates when they interact with other items ingame.

I'm not specifically aware of changes, however we know that a change was made Engine side which may have unintentionally affected certain areas of the game. I'll bring it up with the team tomorrow and see whether this is related - and get more info for you. Thanks for raising.
