I’ve moved this thread to the spoilers section.

We do have changes coming to Pathfinder Troops, however, they are not finalised.
We are also reviewing the scoring and difficulty of Journey events in conjunction with this, but no changes have been made there yet as all of this is a work in progress.

We are making these changes due to the Pathfinder Troops reliability with looping turns causing issues in PVP.

We plan to make an official post once the changes are finalised with the details.

It does look like it doesn’t actually award Seals so it’s lower priority but on the list now.

We haven’t had a pricing review on Google Play for quite a long time. I don’t have the exact date handy but it sounded like years. For the most part the changes should be minimal and while there are some price increases there are also some price reductions.

Not all packs in all regions had the same % increases/reductions, so while one pack in one country might have increased in price by 10%, another pack may have reduced in price by 25% or more.

For Gems of War:

Turkey had the largest average price increase.
Switzerland was 2nd with an average increase of less than 10%.
3/4 of currencies had overall price reductions on average (even if some packs had a price increase in the same currency, enough packs had more reductions to cause the average prices to be a decrease overall).

These changes are purely based on currency.

I’ll pass that feedback on @Kezef but I believe it’s highly unlikely that the bubbles will be made symmetrical like the Guild Wars brackets.

It’s more likely the rules around how players are assigned to buckets will be reviewed and refined.

I think there’s a shaking out period here as well while the more active players get separated from the more casual ones by their performance as we go, like we had in Guild Wars originally. I’ll be asking about how long the shake out is predicted to last and if it will take awhile I’ll ask if there’s any additional changes that could be made to speed up that process.

This occurred because the offer was received a minimum of 10 hours prior to when you tried to accept the offer - but you were navigating through other parts of the game between your last battle and accepting the offer - something that’s not meant to be possible as the offer is only valid for as long as you are on the merchant offer screen. The second you leave that screen either by accepting the offer or by dismissing it, the offer is no longer active or available to you.

So that indicates the game was open on 2 devices and while one had this Angel Offer open, the other device was still playing other areas of the game which deactivated this offer as intended.

Scarebear is applying the team bonus correctly, however the Pet art isn’t appearing on the bonuses screen in the collection menu.

I’ve cleaned up the callouts, thank you for the majority of people having this discussion without breaking community guidelines.

Just wanted to also let you know I’ve got this thread on my reading list as I’ll be doing a full report for the team about the feedback regarding PVP scoring, matchmaking, bubble match ups and leagues etc soon.

The general sentiment and feedback has already been getting passed on.

… Slightly off topic side note: My favourite are unofficial names for Troops.

Although they make it hard to remember the official Troop names sometimes.
I cannot tell you how long it took me to remember Prince Ethoras’ and Penglong’s names.

Ethoras is an anagram for what we were calling him internally before he had a real name.

Penglong will forever be known in my heart as Longboi <3

I don’t think we really have a clear distinction for the 2 terms internally either and they’re often used interchangeably.

I think sometimes we don’t realise how our words will be analysed when we use them in the community - so while some things are established and have official definitions, other words are just a general label which we use with the assumption the context of the whole post/discussion will clarify and make unambiguous. Also some words we pick up from the community and aren’t even words we have previously used internally. I try to keep up with the lingo ...

For players on Google Play, depending on your region, you may notice some real-money price changes come through as of today - These were made in line with currency conversion rates.

This will vary from country to country, so where some players in one country may not see any change, there may be some in other countries who see a difference.

This has been applied across both Infinity Plus Two’s games (Gems of War and Puzzle Quest 3).

The team have just pushed out another minor improvement for the lag.

Lag is literally the worst when gaming, so I totally understand the frustration.
You still remained respectful while talking about the lag and voicing your frustration so you’re good.

Looks like there’s an issue with Mydnight’s Duke/King of Terror bonuses rather than with Bone Puppy itself. I’ve reported it.

For Scarebear the Bonuses are applying but the Pet art isn’t displaying on the Mystic General Bonus. So it’s just a visual issue for Scarebear.

This is correct, if the Troop is the last Troop in the team, even if it is in slot 1, 2 or 3, and Terror triggers, the Troop will flee.

I’ll make a note to make sure that’s mentioned in the Help Center for the status effect as well.

Sorry one rogue server hamster escaped momentarily but we got it back in the hamster wheel real quick when it happened.

We’ve pushed out a fix roughly 10 minutes ago that should have significantly reduced the lag.

This is still an ongoing task though as it hasn’t brought things down to their usual load times yet.
