When we previously posted about today’s hotfixes, there was still one Hunter adjustment underway. It’s now finalized and has just gone live:
This will appear in the next hotfixes update, but has just now taken effect (~6:20 p.m. PST).

The following additional hotfixes have been added to the OP, and will come into effect with maintenance.
At the beginning of Dragonflight Season 3, we reduced the maximum rating gap healers could have going into a Solo Shuffle match, across all ratings, based on feedback we received. We’ve seen that this resulted in long queue times at higher ratings.
To help address this, about a week ago, we increased the rating gap moderately, but only at higher ratings, to best preserve matchmaking within the entirety of the ladder.
We’ve been watching the results of changes like that, and we’ll continue to watch all of these issues very carefully so that we can make surgical changes wherever necessary.
Along with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region (tomorrow, December 12), we’re going to make the following adjustments to the Tindral encounter in Amirdrassil.
Dungeons and Raids
Tomorrow, with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’re going to implement some adjustments based on class performance and feedback.
We revisited this today, and believe that it’s about to work out for everyone.
As you know, there was an issue that was fixed on November 27 that resulted in a one-time mailing of missing Echoed Ephemera to players. At the same time, we made an additional update*.
Since then, we’ve seen some players report they’re not at the expected amount of Echoed Ephemera. The currency is capped per week, so you can reach 10 on week one, 20 on week two, etc. All players who’ve been maximizing this should be done on week five.
*The additional update we made was to increase the cap for week five to 60 Echoed Ephemera. All players who have been raiding each week should be able to earn the enchantment on week five.
It was a challenging bug and realm restarts were required, but once we got it sorted, we didn’t want to wait until Tuesday for the buff to return.
Have fun!
We want to acknowledge a known issue that we’ve been working to identify and fix.
It’s possible in the Battle for Ashenvale PvP event to have two lieutenants get killed at precisely the same time, resulting in the entire event hanging in error for an extended time, and even affecting the start/reset of the next round of the event.
We completely understand how disruptive this is, and we’re working diligently to deliver a fix as soon as possible.
Today, the WoW Community Council met with Classic World of Warcraft developers Nora Valleta, Ana Resendez, and Josh Greenfield to talk about Season of Discovery, Classic Era, and the Wrath Classic to Cataclysm Classic update.

Thank you!
While all of the changes made to Ashenvale PvP in the first week of Season of Discovery have been included in our hotfixes update, I’ve gone ahead and compiled them here:
This is working correctly. It is not intended that reputation can be gained from leaders once you’re Revered.
With a hotfix that we’ll apply to the game soon:
And as always, this change will be listed later in our Hotfixes Update.
To provide more transparency on the actions we take against cheating and exploitation, here is an accounting of the number of actions that were taken over the last month, November 2023:
Total Exploitative WoW Account Actions in November 2023: 197455
All of these actions were for cheating or exploitation, which primarily result in permanent bans or 6-month suspensions. This number does not include other actions such as those taken on accounts with character name or in-game language violations. We continue to evolve our methods and act against these malicious accounts on a daily basis.
We’re on it!
We’ve been working on fixing this all day. It’s a surprisingly challenging bug, but we expect to get the buff back on soon.
We’ve had a trend of pricing Trading Post class sets at 450 Trader’s Tender, and for the first few days of December, a bug caused the Imminence of Krag’wa’s Executor set to sell for 500 Tender. We’ve now hotfixed the game to set that price at 450, as we originally intended.
If you’ve already purchased the set, please hang tight. We’re working on a second hotfix that will refund you the extra 50 Tender. You don’t have to take any steps. That refund will come as soon as we can implement it this month.
We apologize for the mix-up.
