At some point, certainly! Can't say when exactly yet, though.

It's the same unfinished merged spellbook fix that already popped up in 1.3.7. Ignore it for the time being, it's not ready yet and is in beta for some testing purposes.

I think it is a very good sign you start to delay releases when the content isn't ready. You really should be more generous with release dates and add a few months to make sure you release your games/dlcs in good condition!

Release dates are not only determined by "when it's ready", they also take in mind the budget. New releases generate budget for the further development, and if you delay things for too long, you begin to run out of money. Thankfully, we're not really struggling at the moment, but we still aren't the size of company that can afford to just freely toss multiple more months of development at will. Not consistently at least :)

It's been this way since Kingmaker. Cast Haste and all your other /round buffs then speed through the dialog as fast as you can because those buffs are wearing off while you're talking.

E - so many people saying I'm wrong. I wish they were right. It's trivial to test. I fired up a save right before the succubus in the Gray Garrison and cast Divine Power (duration of 60s) and initiated the event with the crusaders and the succubus when Divine Power was around 55s left.

I casually went through the dialog, which took around 90s. When combat initiated, Divine Power had 38s left. So - not bad, lost 17s during the 90s of reading the text and the cutscene.

Then I tested again and sped through the text and cutscene by pressing space and enter when the camera would shift. When combat started I had 51s left on Divine Power, a difference of 2 rounds.

You want to casually take your time, then go ahead. But those buffs ar...

Normally cutscenes are manually set to pause all effects. Looks like this one was accidentally skipped.

Yup, main campaign is a quest/normal dungeon, and standalone version is a roguelike adventure where you keep trying and failing :)

Well I'm glad to see that the comments so far have been pretty positive. This community seems way more chill than another game community where bad news is met with death threats to the devs. I won't mention any names, but it rhymes with Schmestiny

Our community is very friendly, and we are truly humbled by the reception we get. It motivates to learn on mistakes and make games better. And of course we do our best to listen to the feedback of our audience.

They happen at the same time so yeah. No changes for now, if there will be any - we'll announce some time in advance.

Really looking forward to it, but take your time! How will mythic powers work in the rogue-like mode?

Same as usual, you get them at certain points during playthrough.

This is a good decision. As much as I'm looking forward to the DLC, we can wait.

If I'm prepping a save to play through it as part of the campaign, where should I stop? End of Act 2?

The quest in the main campaign appears first time at Act III.

Take all the time that is necessary. Although I feel I should ask, do you expect this have any impact on the expected release date for the Enhanced Edition?

Hard to predict for now, there can never be enough polish. But so far the dates weren't moved.

Hey everyone!

This is a short update regarding The Treasure of the Midnight Isles DLC. As we were testing and polishing it, we’ve realized that some parts of it could use more love (and demonic corruption), but we were running out of time to do it. So, after some consideration, we decided to move the release date. Your cursed ship will arrive to port on the 30th of August, and meanwhile we’ll scrub the deck, place more loot, and hide the nastiest monsters and traps in places where you least expect them.

We apologize for delaying your cursed holidays in the depths of the Abyss, but such an expedition requires a thorough preparation, and we need to make sure you have everything before you set sail.

Dear Owlcat (good, strong, primal name!) Starrok, I've written (well, spammed) in many places the message to NOT CHANGE MAGICAL VESTMENT or BETTER YET give us some kind of Armor Focus Mythic, that for example gives +1 to our base armor per half mythic rank, because it's screwing all players that want to roleplay that their tanks have some armor instead of robes, scaling mage armor and monk dips. I see you here, so I write it once again, and hope that you'll send my desperate message along and someone will listen

:( PLS DUNT :(

edit: but all the other stuff sound great, and I can't wait

Hey there! I hear you. Like I said in another comment already, there's a certain desire to look at this among the team, but it is a significant time investment and there was no time for it yet. Maybe later.

Most likely mods. Never heard of this in a clean game.

Alright, I guess we have to delete it from the game now :(

Shouldn't be :)

I'll check this with the gamedesign team.

Yup, it's an intended bugfix. There's a number of ideas in the team how it could be made better from a balance point of view with new mythic feats etc.

If they will see the light one day or not, I don't know yet. Mostly depends on whether there will be some free dev time to implement it. But it looks like the life cycle of the game may continue for a while as long as DLCs will be showing good results, so who knows?
