I explained in the other thread that this fix came as a part of dealing with other, more global bug, which caused multiple other issues including disappearing spell slots, unresponsive spellbook etc.

Reverting it would require a solid rework of the code. There's also the factor that now it works according to the initial design, as it was always supposed to.

Update on the matter: we have discussed it, and it was agreed that different amount of spells depending on which level you are when going through a mythic rank-up is not how it's intended to be, and counter-intuitive, as well. The plan is that in one of the upcoming patches the formula will be rewritten to be no longer tied to the class level, but preserving more or less the same progression. Descriptions will be updated accordingly.

While the old system with a fast progression to a consistent max of Oracle spells known was best, this current system of bonus spells known depending on level-up timing is still manageable. Any further nerf and I would seriously consider not updating while I finish the Angel Oracle run.

I had this happen once before and somehow "verify and repair" fixed it the first time. This time "fix and repair" broke the game and now I get the flash of the Unity -logo.

I have deleted cache files, re-installed the game, tried all kinds of recommended tricks. I can't get the game to launch anymore.

I am little bit thinking I might have a corrupted save file (or the cloud sync file), but I can't verify it because can't start the game offline, and it always loads the saves if I try locally deleting them.

Help! This was soon after 1.4.22j update btw.

Did you use any mods? If some of them aren't updated for the newest patch, they may cause such issues.

Two-digit patches (similar to 1.1, 1.2 etc.) usually contain hundreds of fixes plus some QoL improvements. Don't have the list of changes on my hands yet, it's usually prepared shortly before the patch goes live.

Correct, it came with 1.2 as a part of a wider fix. It's working correctly now, but has an incorrect tooltip. Long story short, it was always supposed to work like this, but we never noticed it was bugged because players thought it was a feature and never reported it.
