You'll have to find them separately, but once you do you can use them on any armor for that class.

The overly-blue Scout was simply not set up properly in time for this Experimental patch. It will be fixed in time for Update 29.

The Driller armor is a different story however (though the stripes are coming back, no worries).

As part of the new Paintjob system for armors, you will now start with only a single default Paintjob, which will be applied to any armor you have. There will however be a lot of alternative Paintjobs to find and unlock, new ones as well as the old ones (such as the one shown on left Driller). Any Paintjobs you find can be used on ANY of your armors for that class.

There will be dusty Paintjobs, there will be clean Paintjobs, and there will be Paintjobs that shake things up in other ways. And there will be more of them coming down the line.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback! It's always interesting to read what people directly think.

This is among the first games I've worked on where trawling the game's Reddit doesn't make me want to go cry in a closet. <3

Management disapproves of breaking the laws of physics while on company property.

Well done, Miner.

Management would like to remind all miners that the MULE is company property and not your companion, and that pets on the Space Rig are strictly forbidden.

I spent so much time reading this that the game's release will need to be postponed a week.

Seriously though, amazing effort. Thank you for taking the time and showing the kind of dedication you do. Posts and threads like this are always valuable to us.

Keep this up and I'll make them all pink.

Damn, we need to make a better shader for this...!

Nice.

For a moment I thought you'd edited the image...the "69" is at a different angle than the rest of the screen. Then I realised it's literally like that in the game and that I only have myself to blame. X_X

Monstrous.

FYI: The Miner's Manual that'll arrive with Update 29 will not be the final version - in preparation for Launch, it will be mostly focused on core game concepts and helping new players to get into the game quicker. We plan to add more chapters to it down the line as and when we get time after Launch, some of which is already being worked on.

Feel free to shoot us ideas for what kind of material you'd like in there too - we might just do something about it. :)

The current Resupply Pod is very old and could use an update at some point, I don't disagree. It is on my list of Things To Do Once When There Is Time. :)

Comment

The Paintjobs and surrounding systems are still getting some final love - the Paintjob shown at the top was not set up right for this Experimental patch and will not be this blue when Update 29 launches properly.

These looks rushed.

That's because they are. :) These were chucked in quickly for Experimental, they'll get an update for the launch of Update 29.

For the record, these are quick placeholders and will be updated to be a bit more snazzy when Update 29 lands.

For those worrying this is us adding microtransactions: Relax, people. This is just the current Accessory Shop that's had a visual update, as part of the ongoing Space Rig Overhaul.
