We recently updated the way we apply lights to Paintjobs, and we missed that NeonBand had broken a bit because of it. Happy to announce it is fixed for 1.0!
Management would like to remind all employees that it is against company regulations to make Mission Control blubber like a child.
Rock and Stone, miner.
Clearly the elves have infiltrated deeper than we previously thought!
Love seeing dev comments on normal posts, so much more common than the devs of other games.
We try. :)
Sorry about that, should be working now. I've also made a report on your Jira site and uploaded the video there too. How it happened was I tried to jump in to the drop pod at the end of the mission instead of walking in and ended up stuck there. Couldn't move anywhere. After death Bosco revived and I was still stuck.
Thanks alot, and sorry for the inconvenience. We'll look into it. :)
Question? Is the thumbnail the correct color, or rather the color on the pickaxe?
It's the thumbnails that are wrong.
Pretty sure there's something wrong with the Pickaxe Paintjob thumbnails. Been seeing a few reports on this lately. On my to-do list.
That is excellent news! Also, the fact that you're responding to me right now is probably evidence of the fact that I've stayed up too late. Hello from the U.S.! Keep up the good work Rob and please give my compliments to the team, you're all doing fantastic work and deserve the 500+ hours I've poured into your game lol
Much obliged. Go to bed, Miner. :D
More hairdos is on my to-do list. :D
There is not going to be a forced reset at launch.
Personally, I would *recommend* resetting at launch - simply because the game and scaling and way we hand out things has changed so much since we started making the game - but we have no plans for forcing a reset on you guys.
Your video is set to Private so I can't see it, unfortunately. This sounds like something we can fix though - if you make the video public and explain a bit more, I'll be able to look into it.
That's a horrible idea. I just might do it. :D
Management does not usually approve of this kind of use for company time, but hot dang, that is impressive, Miner.
Aw you guys. <3
I'm proud of you, Miners.
It's in the plans for sometime shortly after launch. With all that's going on currently we sadly had to push it.
Wow i was not prepared to see a dev of the game on my post. Is that isn't the proof that you listen your community.
Reddit is super valuable to us, reading every post here. :D
We got ourselves a missing icon! On it.
Hey i just wanted to let you know i found a solution that fixed it for me. I used this steam guide here:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/548430/discussions/1/3374780959391806780/
from what im gathering from the steam guide the game uses fxaa default and this guide makes the game use TAA. But anyways when i use these new anti-aliasing settings it completely removes all the artifacts that the ambient occlusion causes. So maybe it couldn be fixed from just making that the new in game anti-aliasing? Or are there issues with switching to this method i dont know about?
Hmm, interesting! As far as I know, using FXAA rather than TAA is that FXAA is a LOT cheaper. But, if it's an option, I see no reason not to support both and leave the choice up to the players.
I'll send this on to our programmers, maybe there's something we can use from this. No promises, but I'll see what we can do. Thank you! :)
