Numbers will ebb and flow especially alongside updates. Bots are definitely still a big issue, but spikes and bumps should happen with significant content updates as well. There are problems with bots to be solved but not quite all of it is doom and gloom
Unfortunately this is not planned to be changed further
Have seen a lot of feedback on this as well – I believe the intent is to have these available when more folks are ready, around the legion raid timing. So they are coming!!
I don’t want to derail the thread too much, but good! I am still catching up to everything here, but had some cool opportunities at the show and it was exciting to talk to some players in person looking forward to more of that in the future!!
Yup, this is an ongoing and frustrating battle. It’s gotten rougher in the past few weeks as botters have changed their systems and found workarounds, but we’re working to find newer solutions to continue to push back against this
Locking this thread because “get used to it” isn’t productive or cool. Toxicity sucks, it doesn’t benefit anyone, and if you run into folks being toxic in-game you should report them: Report a Player or Guild - Support | Amazon Games
A lot of these processes have been streamlined – for example, the prologue is much shorted, you now get your mount much sooner, and some of the quests that feel a bit silly because you only have to move one or two items were changed to make things a little quicker. I will say the developers feel very strongly about sending players through the story at least once so they can be in the world, which is why it’s required before the Power Passes are usable and such
Definitely trying to strike the right balance to help folks gear up without necessarily handing out item levels – either way, the discussion and thoughts are appreciated!
As of right now we’re still planning on targeting the May update for Valtan (which we are trying to share an estimated date for early in the month). We’re still monitoring, but trends are showing that the April update is helping more players get geared and ready for it
Cleaning up localization will be ongoing over time, and even happen retroactively. I’ll definitely let the loc team know about the issues with South Vern as more pressing

Names are indeed region wide, since there is cross server play (for one region) in the game

We aren’t wiping names on lapsed players any time soon, and it’s not something that’s on the schedule for now – the game has only been out for about 2 months so it’s far too early to consider at this point.
To point out a different case since some folks might not know, if characters above level 10 are deleted by the owner, names will free up in 60 days. If characters below level 10 are deleted the names will be free immediately.
North America West is definitely getting hit especially hard by the bots right now. I apologize for the experience. As the hackers/botters continue to change their methods we’re working to combat them

Tened en cuenta que el sistema actual solo permite dar de nuevo acceso a jugadores que hayan sufrido este problema en una caída o apagón confirmados en un servidor. Esto no se aplica a pérdidas de conexión a internet locales o a cualquier otro problema que pueda causar una desconexión. Además, la recepción de este acceso puede no ser inmediata. La entrega puede tardar hasta un día y aparecerá en tu buzón del juego.
