Seems like folks here may have missed this update: Character Creation Limits - Launch Update

We will be carefully lifting character creation limits on servers to allow new players to join servers that they may not have been able to previously. However, we are closely monitoring server populations and queue times, so these character creation limits may return as queues begin to grow. Please be aware that the list of servers with account limits may change frequently, and that you will have to relaunch your client in order to access a server with a newly lifted cap. While we are still aiming to keep wait times low, we hope this helps some players join their friends on more servers.

If you already have a character on the server, you can fill out your roster of characters. It just does not allow new players to join

The feedback has definitely been shared (not just today, but continually), and I will let you know if there is an update

Wow, awesome – going to pass this along and make sure investigations but with the amount of folks saying it worked I will mark the “workaround” as a “solution” for now in order to help others in the meantime

To be clear, because I wasn’t, this was already under investigation prior to my response in the forums.

I get the desire for an immediate response, but there are close to a million people in game right now and there is only one of me right here. Please be patient with me as I am attempting to tackle several things at once, not all in the forums, and it is not my intent to intentionally ignore any issues.

Just posted an update on this, but they will appear automatically, it will just take an hour or so.

We are aware that the in-game store is currently down in some regions, and are working to get this fixed.

Please also note that some items in your Product Inventory, as well as Crystalline Aura, may not appear immediately after logging in. There may also be a delay on the delivery of purchased Starter Packs. These issues will resolve as you continue to play, and your items will appear shortly.

I am not disputing anyone’s opinions around this, I am just trying to provide as much as clarification as possible.
