Our next update, Patch 0.7.3, will include the following improvements;

  1. Companions will now teleport to you when you respawn after dying.
  2. Enemies will now have color-coded names above their health bars;
    • Normal enemies will have white names.
    • Magic enemies will have blue names.
    • Rare enemies will have gold names.
    • Unique enemies will also have gold names.
      • The names of unique enemies are paler than the names of rare enemies.
  3. Hardcore characters will now be converted to non-Hardcore characters on death.
  4. It will now be possible to abandon challenge modes (e.g. Solo, Masochist) after character creation. Please note that it won’t be possible to re-activate them for that character.
  5. Skill trees which receive substantial changes in a patch will now sometimes be flagged for free respecs. The decision on whether to grant one will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Could you see if this support article on Microsoft’s website helps?

The file won’t be in the same directory as the game’s executable file.

Just to clarify - there is a bug affecting how Cinder Song’s base type displays. We have fixed this internally and it won’t affect the item once it has been implemented. The item is not Mage-only.

While that will definitely be implemented, I can’t say for sure whether it’ll be there initially.

We’ve been working on social updates and are applying the finishing touches to the backend. In a future patch you will be able to add other Travelers as friends, and send them whispers.

From the team that brought you the options;

  • Screen Shake: Off
  • Screen Shake: Heavy Abilities Only
  • Screen Shake: On
  • Screen Shake Intensity: Very High
  • Screen Shake Intensity: High
  • Screen Shake Intensity: Normal
  • Screen Shake Intensity: Low

…come the following commands for whispering people;

  • /tell Name
  • /msg Name
  • /w Name
  • @ Name
  • /dm Name
  • /message Name

Speaking of having friends...

(As with all sneak peeks, there could be changes prior to this being implemented.)

Thanks for the post.

The honest answer is our plan for the skill is to discuss it at a future design meeting. Since you’re interested in the skill, I’ll talk about some of the design challenges we face with it.

Any skill system needs to consistently work the same way for every skill. Our specialization trees have certain requirements. Each skill needs to do something prior to any nodes on the specialization tree being taken. There has to be a sizable number of ways in which to modify the skill. The base functionality cannot be too complete a package, or else being able to add to it causes problems. In short, we need a certain amount of design space.

By default, Black Hole offers both damage and a crowd control effect. The crowd control effect is one of the best in the game in terms of increasing the caster’s survivability when properly utilized (and utilized outside of the somewhat contrived Arena zones). The ‘pull’ effect also concentrates enemies, making Area ...

Well, you will be investing into two trees rather than one. It ought to be more rewarding! :wink:

Summon Skeleton was originally implemented at the conclusion of Last Epoch’s pre-alpha stage of development, and was one of the largest specialization trees ever created. We have periodically altered the tree as we attempted to fit options to unlock additional skeleton types, options to remove skeleton types, options to enhance the various skeletons, options to increase your total skeletons cap, and other nodes within a single tree.
