For the love of god i don't know if i'm on to something or it's just a coincidence but every time i get killed these past games it's by an Octane AND NOT JUST ANY OCTANE but dudes with the name for example Octane4472 i keep dying to dude's with the same NAME just differnet 4 digit numerals at the end. and i'm positive atleast one was spinbotting somehow he had 200k damage already on his tracker and just spitfired me and my teammate from atleast 150m in less than 6 seconds.

Edit:i've bamboozled myself

You turned on streamer mode, look in settings and turn it off there.

The solution I've been able to come up with is that the one by players who are truly synched up are the ones closest to each other, since if you can't interact with a player you don't care if they're synchronized with you.

Or is the infrastructure you're running on so robust that you just don't care about the overhead of keeping everyone on the same page?

Generally speaking, it's fairly standard stuff across most games. Google "client server game architecture" for lots of info. Short version is, the server knows what each client was seeing and the time that they saw it; when the client sends input to the server, the server simulates the state as it was on the clients machine at the point the input happened.

If I tab out during legend select and tab back in during the transition banner from champion squad to being in the drop ship, the game will freeze during the closing of the rings on the 3 banners, audio will continue but not show anything that’s actually going on (jumpmaster quips, etc) for a few seconds then it kicks me out of the game.

Can you let us know if this happens after the patch?

Any update on this? Literally thousands upon thousands of people bought the battlepass after reading crash fixes in the patch notes, and are still unable to play because the number of crashes has seemingly not changed. Are you still reading this thread? Is this where we should be posting crash logs?

Some communication on expected timelines/what you're actually doing right now would sure be really helpful. I know the sentiment amongst my immediate gaming circle is that people feel like they're been taken advantage of, literally paying for a battlepass they are unable to use. Are we going to have to wait another month for crash fixes? How much of the battle pass will remain by the time we can play?

Yes, we are still reading this thread, and this is still a fine place to post reports (we also get them though EA support). I can’t provide a full or official update, but I can say that from what I have seen the reports are very helpful for our engineers, and they’ve been working with them since they became available Tuesday. I can’t provide much more than that, other than to say we’re working on it, keep the reports coming, and thank you for your patience.

Bloodhound was updated in the patch as well, give him a try. Threat scope should be the same. Let me know if they're not when you give them a try.

I don't think the game can cause that kind of an issue on it's own, but it might be pushing your rig hard enough to trigger some other issue? Have you tried locking framerate or monitoring temperates?

Sorry you had that experience. I'll not sure how up to speed EA support is on the crash logs, but you can always post it here, or to the crash mega thread as well.

Hi, friends and I share the same crash .txt file with very different setups. All settings on low and our GPU's are 1080's and 1060's. At least 16GB of ram on every setup. At one point we all crashed at the same time after about 6 games.
