Learned from last night, gave an hours heads up along with messaging posted on the forums, Discord, and in game. Ideally we’ll get even better with the timing of things but I feel like this was an improvement in communication.

Not negative, just attacking me personally or combative with no solution. I’ve left most of the overall negative comments. I understand peoples concerns and always happy to explain what I can.
Some of us work weekends, I work weekends.
Talking about issues is what a CM does. We take your concerns and feedback, present it to the teams that can do something with it if they want, and we return with any information they give us.
Alright, I believe this conversation has run its course. I’m glad that messaging and communication got out with plenty of time and a bit smoother then it did last night. I’ll be meeting with the team Monday so we can continue to fine tune our reaction to different situations. Thank you everyone for the help!

And I do understand that, that asking for a heads up is usually to prevent the loss of being kicked out of an instance. But there is still other content, other things going on that players are intent on finishing.
The team is also fine tuning their communication when it comes to things like this, so while we keep this in mind, I realize we’ll never make everyone happy.
They do read over the forums, its why I recommend leaving feedback.
We restart the region in 15 minutes with little to no heads up… everyone is mad, they ask for more time in a heads up.
