Generally new camos are added on a vehicles introduction. After that it's live camos on the market.

Comment

Different matters entirely. Final configuration is down to the developers.

If a missile can be mounted and their is evidence it could / did it can be considered. As was the case for J-7E.

This has been answered many times

F-104S ASA has no connection to anything other than AIM-9L and B.

This is the last time we will warn about these off topic missile discussions. This topic is not the place.

Comment

The fact they are all aspect IR missiles is about all they share in common.

PL-8 is significantly further ahead of most IR missiles in game. R-60M is a limited all aspect version of the standard R-60 with some other minor changes.

AIM-9L is also the only possible IR missile on the F-104S ASA besides AIM-9B.

Not currently present as this was never fitted to the demonstratior.

You will be able to purchase it for GE too currently yes.

We have already explained that newly tuned vehicles are added to the dev server with incomplete loadouts loosely configured.

Everything is made clear that it's fully work and progress and not final. No promise or announcements were made of PL-8s introduction. So let's stop...

PL-8 is not comparable to AIM-7 or R-60M.

This is also not the subject matter of this topic and can be taken to a more suitable forum topic.

Comment

R-60M is not comparable to the PL-8 in performance.

Also it was on the Dev server. Which as the patch notes and announcements state, are entirely subject to change and not final.

We have this, devs decided based on the Pilot correspondence and lack of further evidence that it was ever used on the ASA.

Comment

Final loadout configurations are not yet complete due to ongoing changes. (if your going by that recent datamine)

We consulted with a pilot of the F-104S ASA. The aircraft apparently never used the AGM-12, the c*ckpit of the 104S ASA was not equipped to use the AGM-12.

Comment

The 500kg SAMP Mk 83 (Identical to the US LDGP Mk 83 1000lb) also appears to be present on the new loadouts. So in that case it appears to just be the 500lbs under question.

Ive forwarded those back to the Developers for further review But for now it seems the two most useful options (750lb x 6 and 500kg x 4) are present now.

Defiantly not finished I might add*

Wikipedia is not a valid source. I'm also not sure what this has to do with the thrust output that was being discussed.

If you believe it's incorrect and have more substantial source material (wiki won't be accepted), please feel free to report it. But 8kg extra on the engine is not going to make much difference, if that claim does turn out to be correct.

As far as I'm aware, as Grom said the FM was final. There have been some fixes to the aircraft.

Comment

This is what it currently is in game (within the margin of error)

Comment

Currently these are all the presets that could be verified by our consultants so far.

If you have any additional info, please let us know and we will pass it on.

Comment

Every case can be different depending on the sources and origin. Therefor it's not possible to have spesific rules for every possible instance, but instead have general rules that cover all likely outcomes from a legal perspective protecting both the user and Gaijin from possible implications.

Again, other games / simulation genre titles have similar rules coving such source material. Given the legal issues that can rise, it needs to be safe.

Comment

Again, being in game on other aircraft has nothing to do with the research process that shows they were used by the aircraft in question. There was generally a lack of source material in the initial report, which was later suplimented by other users and addional research by people here in this topic.

Priority is given to newer aircraft reports, as evidenced most recently by the Mirage F.1 and F-104S ASA having all of their repeorts resolved already.

If something is reported after that and with little source material, it can take significantly longer to verify, further research and validate source material, particularly when it is more scarce.

Comment

Providing it is not restricted or clasfied, it can be used a secondary source requiring an additional source.

Comment

No additional source material has been submitted, so there is no real change to the matter for the time being beyond explanations of the existing known material.

Comment

We have aircraft in game already of this calibre. Fares / chaff are an important gameplay consideration and as you know, providing a system is compatible with an aircraft, but from another variant, it's open for consideration by the devs. Many examples of tanks and aircraft like this exist in game.

Unless there is evidence of a lack of compatibility or lack of clarity on that.

Comment

A loadout being in game on another aircraft does not curcumvent the need to validate the material for the aircraft in question with consultants. On top of this, information for the Zunis was added much more recently and unique to the French aircraft.

With 2000+ vehicles in game, we have many historical related reports, all of which require validation and confirmation.

What's important is it's resolved.
