As far as modifications are concerned such as flares, as we have explained before, if it was possible from a technical perspective on the aircraft it is open to consideration by the developers.

Export restrictions are not a factor. Game balance and developer decision is.

Comment

We have passed this matter to the Devs and on initial review they have confirmed this is not how the system works and the theories above are not correct.

We hope to have a detailed explanation in the near future. The Devs are currently very busy with the next major update. But the points above are not reflective of the current system.

Comment

Multiple reports of this exact nature on multiple top MBTs of the Challenger, Abrams and T series have been closed for the same reason. If the sources are not authorative or do not contain enough material, a change cannot be made.

It has nothing to do with any one nation. The same sourcing standards for reports are applied across the board.

Comment

This is the information I was passed by the developers when the question was asked. If they found additional materials or a report was made, then things can still change by the time it reaches the live server.

Comment

We had similar sources presented for the Challenger and Challenger 2 tanks that were not accepted. No values or ranges are given. Sources that simply state "improved", "planned to have" or "will be better than X". These types of sources can be used as supportive sources to back up clearly defined values presented from sources. But they themselves cannot be used to make any changes. As there is no range or value of improvement.

Its better to give the German tree an improved missile at the same time, as we always said was possible. As there is no new German top fighter coming this update.

Comment

Soviet Bis models have the MiG-23M, MLD and MiG-27 also supporting. German MiG-21Bis SAUs have a far wider team composition. Given the Soviets already have several aircraft with R-60M and are all performing at the upper end of their respective BRs, additional missiles wont be added at this time.

Comment

It was nothing to do with wanting to test it on all MiG-21 platforms. The German Bis is performing considerably lower than the Soviet one and most other 11.0 aircraft. Thus, as we stated when the Bis SAU was first introduced, it will receive R-60M now to better balance the vehicle. Statistically speaking, the Soviet Bis is doing significantly better and with the 23M, MLD and 27M also on its team, the developers do not wish to issue even better missiles for it at this current point in time.

Comment

No changes are planned right now for least and we cannot talk in advance about what vehicles are planned or not.

Comment

It will be hidden from purchase in the French tree. Currently it isn't planned to come back for now.

List of documents on the basis of which the ballistics of the naval shells have been changed.

Comment

Mirage 5 was a ground attack variant also used by France themselves. Not just for export.

The K is after the M, so it's down to the player to decide if they wish to research it. Folders are added when there are things after it to add and when there is more aircraft in general in any given rank.

Comment

Thunderskill is not representative of the actual data and only uses the values from those that use its site or who's nicknames are searched. The actual performance is not comparable.

MIG-27K is a slight modification of the M. They are almost identical. Variants of the same airframe are usually always considered when making the first model.

Comment

It's currently not planned for the Soviet Bis as Russia already has multiple aircraft at the top of the performance bracket.

Comment

These are entirely separate matters.

Missiles and loadouts are given with consideration to the individual performance of any given aircraft based on game balance.

In the case of the Bis SAU, when it was first introduced, we said that we would monitor it's performance before giving it any additional weponary. As it currently stands, it's one of the worst 11.0 aircraft so R-60M is viable to add now.

In the case of bug reports, they have nothing to do with balance, but require source material, authentication, validation and more often than not, further research to ensure the material is correct.

The two matters are not linked in any capacity.

In addition, as we have already said for some time now, a new domestic top fighter for France is coming. Just not in this update.
