You actually asked me to put a question about beastmen appearing on the old maps in the community poll. I did, and the majority approve. 20% didn’t, out of that 20% were people who wanted a unique beastmen story arc with their own maps.

I just can’t see this from your point of view. It would be like if new careers are added (which they are, first one coming SoonTM) and those careers can only be played on new maps that were released with them. So you can never load those careers into the old maps. That’s just silly…

BTW, thanks for the hotfix FS. I’ll test out some more twitch mode and update.

I highly doubt they’re going to limit beastmen besides on faction maps like into the nest and skittergate.

Otherwise, what’s the point of the dlc? It’s main selling point is beastmen, oh, but with your suggestion, you’ll only get them on two maps and a few parts of five other maps :joy: at that point, why bother? Just remove them… basically, I don’t see this ever happening. You could always just remove the WoM DLC and you won’t get them in your games. You’ll still have the dlc weapons and stuff if you uninstall WoM after you’ve unlocked them.

I think beastmen should be treated like the different careers of the characters. If you take HM, she’s been a HM since the start of V2. Likewise, beastmen have always been here since the start of V2. If a new character was added, you would treat it as if they’ve always been there since the start.

Did you try switching between DX11 and DX12? I get screen freezes and drops in DX12, I have to use DX11. Also, weirdly enough, I can not even launch the game in DX12 when going into the modded realm.

Went ahead and moved your post to it’s own thread.

Can we go ahead and trouble shoot a few things? Have you tried switch between DX11 and DX12? You can do this via the V2 launcher under settings.

Are you using mods? Have you tried turning off all mods?

The i9 9900k CPU has 16 threads right? I remember reading somewhere that using more that 8 for game causes issues? In the settings on the launcher, try adjusting the “Worker Threads” for this.

You could upload one of your more recent console logs here as well,

C:\Users\YOUR PC NAME\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

Oh boy, I hope not. If I remember correctly, ricochet having unlimited penetration was part of its design. Otherwise, not much use for it…

Well, hedge is British, but yea. I’ll remain optimistic and hope for the best.

I’m sure they have recolours as well as the ones currently in the game files on the modded realm, but as they have stated. Some of the cosmetics are brand new unique ones that have never been seen before.

Or you know… we could just ask for a scrap converter? Still, I can see the point. It’d be kinda lame for the Emporium to drop and on the first day we unlock every single cosmetic. :joy: I dunno, I like the idea of having to do weeklies and stuff. And by the sounds of it, we’re gonna get a bonus amount of shillings anyway.

Drachenfels eh? Geneviève Dieudonné is on the way boys

Looks amazing. I can’t wait, 3 maps and Cosmetics baby. Oh yea

About the shillings? What do you mean by owning previous DLCs? Do we just get a certain amount of bonus shillings to start? Or do we get extra shillings from doing quests?

Not sure how V1 works, does it create Console logs and Crash reports? If so, could you post them? It might help the Devs find the issues. If it’s anything like V2, the logs can be found here,

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark

Then click on the Vermintide 1 folder and upload the console log that corresponds with the date and time of the session it happened in. You might be able to find a crash report as well.

I’m by no means an expert, but have you tried trouble shooting the most obvious issues? Are your drivers up to date and not corrupted? Are you overclocking your CPU? Are any of your parts overheating? My wife got a brand new PC with very high end parts. Kept randomly crashing, she was overheating. She just assumed, this is good stuff, it should be able to run anything. Well, yea, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t get hot… Are you using something like MSI afterburner to monitor GPU and CPU heat? Especially if you don’t have the FPS capped at all, you ...

Someone mentioned in a game that there’s a bug that allows you to instantly finish any map just by loading jnto it. They wouldn’t say what it was, only that they reported it to Fatshark and that was it…

What exactly does this mean?

Nice fixes all around though. The skaven back stab noises was really confusing me in a few games. :joy:

Shella, how many times do we need to go through this. All you need to do to get your refund is actually acknowledge it when hedge offers it to you. Every single time you are asked if you want the refund, you no longer respond. He’s not going to pull the trigger until you give him a definitive answer via the proper channels. Otherwise you’ll turn around and say that Fatshark banned you from their games or some other nonsense.

This isn’t the proper channel for this and if you’re serious about getting that refund, then reply to the admins when they offer it to you.
