Please try signing out of the forums completely and close out your web browser. Then restart your browser, load the forums page, press Crtl-F5 to hard-refresh the forum page, and sign back into your account.

If that doesn't fix it, all we can suggest is to try deleting the cookies for the Ashes of Creation forum website. If you need help with that, please put in a support ticket and we can try to help you further.

At this time, the only roles that are generally applied on Discord or the forums are Kickstarter packages and Alpha One access.

Once we get closer to the start of Alpha Two testing, we will set up the necessary roles and channels for that testing phase.

As the other players mentioned, the monthly game time that is included in the Pre-Order and Kickstarter packages is for the retail release of Ashes of Creation. This time will not be consumed during any of the testing phases.

When you make a change to your account, such as resetting the password or updating your email address, your account is temporarily locked until that process is complete. And part of that is locking your forum account as well. The "You have been unbanned email" (without a corresponding "You have been banned" email) is a product of this process.

We are working to make this process less confusing, and hope to have an update in the near future.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.

We just recently announced that the Alpha Two testing phase will begin in 2024. When the testing does start, we will reach out to all eligible participants with instructions on how to join the testing.

It sounds like you got an email for a forum notification. We would not likely use the forums as a vehicle for alerting players of testing.

When we do start the next phase of testing, all eligible players will receive an email to the address on file for their account with instructions on how to participate. Make sure that your contact email is up to date.

The only download that was available on Steam was for Ashes of Creation Apocalypse, which was an early access, free-to-play test for the Ashes of Creation MMO. As described on the Ashes of Creation Apocalypse Steam page, that is no longer available on the Steam store. I am unsure where you found a Steam download, but that will not be for the upcoming Ashes of Creation MMO Alpha testing.

Alpha Two has not yet started so there is nothing to access. When we get closer to the start of the next testing phase, we will reach out to all eligible players with instructions on how to participate. And you do not need a key if you purchase a Kickstarter or Pre-Order package. If you see the test phase item in your account inventory, then you are all set.

At this time there are no plans to apply any sort of regional pricing structure to pre-order, Kickstarter, or pre-purchase packages. Since there are no plans for an Ashes of Creation box cost, the intent for regional pricing will be a harmonized pricing structure for the monthly subscription rate, applied to specific region-locked servers based on the consumer price index of those regions.

As Fairest pointed out, any access that is given away is only for that described testing phase. So Alpha Two access means Alpha Two only. If you notice, the items listed as being included in the packages that are available on the Ashes of Creation shop separately list all of the test phases for which they grant access.

The pre-order packages are what we are ending. Those pre-order packages include testing access. So effectively sales of both are ending.

As for what will happen in the future, keep an eye on our monthly livestreams and News page. Any announcements about future cosmetics or testing access will happen there. Also, be on the lookout for the next Livestream Q&A forum post and post your questions there. You may get them answered live by Steven.
