hey thanks for the ping - so after checking with the rest of the team, the answer is that this isn't a bug.

trophy placement takes precedence over legacy global leaderboard rankings. it does not make sense for your best season to actually be lower than a higher result (in your screenshot, the after has higher trophies than the 'before'.)

i know people are disappointed that they lose their highest global ranking in favour of the new trophies but unfortunately it is the way that the leaderboards work - it is always based on your highest trophy ranking.
the trophy inflation through the increased leagues caused these older rankings to become smaller (even though the ranking was higher).

i definitely think that this was something we overlooked in our communication beforehand, and we could have made players aware of this before the change. that's totally on me and i apologise for that.

Just wanted to confirm that this is indeed an issue only affecting certain Australian internet service providers.

It's unfortunately out of our hands, and similar to what u/AHerbKA said, it is the same issue that Germany had with an ISP a while back.

hey, i just checked with seth. you are indeed correct - this was introduced in the April Update. this was to make it consistent with other effects such as slow etc

this is one of those things that unfortunately got mistakenly left behind when making the patch notes for the update - but i can confirm it is true!

actually we do ban waves every season, and we also did another ban wave/account check for all CRL teams + everyone who qualified via 20 win challenge for WCG & CRL.

we don't just ban based on tweets however (we need solid evidence) therefore an account won't be instantly banned for tweeting the above. but they will certainly draw attention to themselves

i also wanted to give you guys an update on the mysterious goblin/man behind the scenes known as tim!

as you may know, tim had been the community manager since the launch of clash royale. around mid-march he left the royale team to help out on other projects within supercell.

although he is no longer community manager for clash royale, he is still heavily involved in supercell games.

sorry but i don't have any other info to give other than it's on our bug list to look into. the reason they're being replaced right now is because of the trophy count, i am assuming it is counting highest trophies as the 'best' season. but obviously that conflicts with the best seasons having a lower trophy count but a higher placing in ranking.

this did happen, when the april update dropped.

everybody who has played since the update drop got all of these rewards (from zero - whatever your trophy count is) when they opened the Trophy Road for the first time.

if you played last season but have not updated or played since before trophy road came out, then you will still receive all of the rewards that you are owed.

we did not give out stacked chest boosts for when the april update trophy road opened, just the one that correlated to your arena.

yep above 4000 you'll get stacked chest speed up boosts from arenas up to your trophies. you would have also got this from 75% reset (the two are not related).

e.g 5000 reset to 4500 should get 2 days of chest speed boost on the season reset (legendary arena & challenger II)
