The Blinder Firefly's cooldown delay is another issue that's been passed along to the team in a similar vein of feedback as the CC/Status nerf.

We should have more info to share by the end of the week.

Fair point. Though fun can be difficult - if not impossible - to qualify and quantify since every player is going to have their own type of fun.

But finding the right balance of fun, challenge, and reward is always the goal.

You’ve probably seen loads of posts about this and I apologise in advance but I just think It’s important to note how important Build diversity is in a game like this

Without build diversity the game goes stale as players are limited in the builds that players can farm for. I understand you want Legendaries to be difficult but simply looking at Legendary Leaderboards needs to stop. I’ve never had a run on Legendary (after 40 runs at least) under 45 mins that’s more than 2 heroic missions. It is difficult and not everybody can complete it even at all right now in Live let alone 20 minutes.

The Heroic+ CC nerfs are being thoroughly re-examined - though I can't precisely quantify the adjustments as of right now. The team is still looking into making Heroic+ content more of a challenge*, but I think we all agree this particular change was an overstep and a misstep.

*Ideally along with proper fixes/improvements to loot generosity that don't currently feel present in Phase 2.

I hear you loud and clear on the status effect changes as a whole...

...But the build the OP is detailing wouldn't be impacted by those changes since it's all pure Weapon/Skill bullet DPS. No statuses. Unless I'm misreading something?

Like, I get you on the status changes hurting groups a lot and solo players even more... but this specific case isn't that.

Using the Sweet Dreams Talent to kill protected enemies can cause additional waves of NPCs to spawn, sometimes making another Guardian show up in a variety of situations.

With a ST-6 build, running Firewall with the appropriate shield/flame turret, you should have some opportunities to whittle down non-Guardians, then funnel the group in a compact area once 3 Guardians are up.

Hey spidergyc - does this freezing only occur when Inspecting another player in the DZ? Or if you were to select a squad member or another way to Inspect does it also completely freeze the game?

Hey domyong, could you elaborate on how the Seekers are not working - whether its target acquisition, falling through the floor on deployment, exploding but not dealing damage, etc. - and what platform are you on?

The final encounter of the Potomac Event center mission is quite good both for numbers of Guardians (in general) and enemy types. You can get several Outcast rushers per attempt, oftentimes since there are several, one will be a Guardian.

Yes, the back-to-back direct and indirect nerfs to Bleed builds/the Ongoing Directive set have not been lost on me, particularly when it comes to Heroic+ content. It is a frustration that I am actively passing along to the team along with other topics in this thread.

It is... tough because this is a test-change made with the explicit purpose of making Heroic+ harder, which I can understand doesn't make the Heroic+ content feel better for anyone playing it.

Looking around at the feedback even within the first hours, it's pretty plain to see that it's a highly contentious change. Especially when considering status/damage builds like I originally mentioned.

I think an important question to consider is does this hypothetical change actively turn CC builds into dead-weight/lost potential, better to be replaced by another DPS setup or something else? Or does it make them less dominant on the field; less likely to be the single most impactful presence on the team?

Finding that middle ground is difficult, for sure, but important.

I've definitely seen that the Phase 2 status changes have had a staggeringly negative impact on CC/Damage (Damaging Status Effect) builds - to the point of Bleed/Burn setups basically no longer being a viable option in Heroic+.

Which yes, reduces overall build possibilities in Heroic+ content and ruins the fun for those builds. This also makes a hard cutoff for Bleed/Burn builds at Challenging, since they'll take a huge hit the moment they bump up to Heroic.

However - from what I've seen the pure CC Status builds that focus on Disorient, Blind, etc. aren't as impacted at the higher end. Optimized Control builds shouldn't be as impacted by this change as damage status or mid-quality Control builds (again, all this is based on what's been shared with me so far).

That's not to say the change is perfect... but it might be a step in a positive direction to make Heroic+ more demanding of higher-quality builds and more coordinated commun...
