Unfortunately, we've encountered an issue that's preventing us from opening the PTS to all of you tonight. We're working on correcting that as soon as we can, and we'll have another update for you by 12 p.m. ET tomorrow, Oct 2. Do NOT Allow Players To Place Their Vending Machines Inside Their Instanced Camps

Vending Machines can't currently be built inside of Shelters, but you can build lots of other stuff! Our screenshot showed a lot of decor items so as not to block view of the entire Shelter space, but you can build walls, doors, floors, traps, all kinds of things. You can even put another Shelter Entrance inside one of your Shelters so you can have a Shelter in your Shelter!

I don’t think we should get our hopes up that we will all get three in the final version.

You'll be able to have one of each Shelter in the PTS and when we release Shelters for the live game.

On the thread topic, Allies can't currently be placed inside of Shelters for a variety of reasons, but you can still have one guarding your main CAMP!

Hi again, as an update, we've received reports that updating drivers may help resolve this issue. If you're encountering this PC crash repeatedly, can you please ensure you have the latest drivers installed for your CPU and GPU and let me know if that helps?

Hi! Thanks for the report. We've been actively investigating a crash that some PC players have been running into repeatedly since we released the hotfix on Tuesday. We believe this may be related to certain AMD CPUs.

A couple of folks have mentioned that updating their drivers has resolved the issue. If you're experiencing repeated crashing on PC, can you please ensure you're running the latest drivers for both your CPU and GPU to see if that helps?

Hi! This should be resolved now. If you restart Steam you should be able to download the update and log in normally.
