Do Steel Dawn and Season 3 start on the same day? I thought we had until mid-December to finish Season 2.
You've still got time! Season 2 will end and Season 3 will start on the same day, December 15. We just released an updated community calendar in this article that has the Season 3 start and other important dates too.
That’s presuming the ‘ten weeks’ still applies.
The Seasons page says ‘Season 2 Begins September 15 and runs through mid-December’, implying a change.
Perhaps u/LadyDevAnn or u/Valseek can provide clarity? When, exactly, does the current season end?

Is it also a bug that people are getting no legendary at all? Not even a 1*
I spoke with the devs about this and responded here, but in short this isn't intended either and we will fix it for next time (along with the legendary items you do get being locked to 1-star).
Hi guys, I asked about this and it's not intended. It's part of the same issue that resulted in the event rewards being locked to 1-star. Sorry about some of the weirdness with the event rewards this time! We'll get both the 1-star rewards and %chance to not get a drop addressed before the next run of Fasnacht.
PSA - the weapon / armor reward at the end is locked at 1*
This is a bug that we unfortunately didn't have time to fix before the event this weekend. To help make things right we also added Double XP and a Purveyor Sale to this weekend too! We'll address that Fasnacht 1-star loot bug in a future update.
More info is coming in Inside the Vault in just a little bit, but the Master of Ceremonies and decorations in Helvetia should appear starting at 12pm ET today (about an hour from this post). The first run of the event will start an hour later at 1pm ET. Correction: the event and Master of Ceremonies appeared all at once at 12pm ET today. Enjoy Fasnacht!
We were also made aware of a bug affecting the legendary reward at the end of the event which is now only awarding 1-star legendary items. This isn't intended, but we didn't have enough time to fix it before Fasnacht this weekend.

Hi all, thanks for the reports. We're working on adding the Scrap Box right now so that you can use it during the Fallout 1st Preview. While we work on getting the Scrap Box up and running, the Survival Tent comes with a pre-placed Scrap Box that you should be able to use in the meantime.

I'd like to state that this is not necessarily correct. Both the scrapbox in my CAMP (Which was there from my actual FO1st membership that expired a few days ago) and the one in the survival tent are unusable for me, stating "FO1st membership is required to use this item". This seems odd to me, since it DOES allow me to place the tent. Since I have had the subsription in the past, the atomic shop does not provide the option of claiming the box anymore.
The images in the following link show the process of me being able to place the survival tent (which indicates that the trial seems to be activated), but unable to use the box. Hope this helps.
EDIT: I just found that scrapping/storing individual items (SPACE) actually does work. It's the "Scrap and store all junk" (T) command that does not.
Thanks for the added info. That Scrap and Store All button should be working now. We've fixed the issue with the Scrap Box being unavailable for the Preview, so you should now have access to it.

Thanks for the feedback. I know some of you haven't been thrilled with the wallpaper this month, but we actually have a second Fallout 1st item planned for a little later in October that I think some of you will be excited about. Can't say much more than that just yet I'm afraid. Gotta keep it... under wraps.
