@TomDW:

by the way, this is the kind of the thread we are having every other week or so and many people give OP's of these threads good reasons: sometimes AFK's happen, sometimes life get's in the way (i have times where i just started a game and my 4 year old started yelling he had pooped and needed his ass whiped) but yes sometimes you meet a salty nut

if you are playing an event (like sealed, draft).. wait them out and use that time to report (WOTC most likely won't do a whole lot and everyone can have a technical oopsie or life issue that got in the way but [[58194,users]] has said a couple of months ago regarding the no nexus win debacle that they DO take care, espescially if they see certain names pop up more regularly)

if not and it's just play or ranked, either report them or concede
(preferably the first since the second option might encourage the intentional behaviour)

in life though, a little patience goes a long way...

This is exactly the kind of confusion that arises when people falsely talk about a 1000 XP cap per day. There is no such cap. You can earn as much as your quests give.
For those that play every day and clear everything that awards XP, the maximum they'll get is 1000 XP per day and no more. Hence some people have started talking about a cap or limit per day, which I repeat is non-existent.

So you're saying I'll go up two levels in one day? I thought WOTC clearly said they we're only allowing one level a day. I believe you I just wanted to clarify.

There is absolutely no cap. Do you remember where you think you heard us say this?

Hitting level 100 isn't meant to even be ideal so why would you want that? Stop thinking of the Mastery System as a mini game; it's not like "go hit level 99 fishing to get a cape".
There's just one reason, basically. Card sleeves at level 100.

Okay I guess it is EXACTLY like the fishing cape hahaha.

If you play say on a Wednesday and Sunday and complete the quests+wins, you get 5200xp (2600xp for all three quests+daily wins per day). This is because each day you receive a new quest. Roll that up with other chances to get xp you can push 6 levels. That's three boosters a week.
Ideally that would work out, but you shouldn't discount that there are literal "Weekend Warriors" that only get 1-2 days over a weekend which would put them at 2600 to 3600 xp/week. In trying to get a completed mastery pass, these players won't ever see the further rewards no matter which scenario. Of course the season pass may or may not be of value to them, but it is still possibly a good chunk less rewards for their play then they are used to.

I am not discounting them. I am admittedly...

I'm one of those people who can't log on every day! I have a life outside of MTGA! Work, Family and so on. The old system made playing fun and worth it to me! This new system is to time consuming and grind intensive for just one pack! That suck balls! This game needs to also be worth it for people like me or lose players fast! So fix it and fast!
You don't have to log in every day. The only change made was adding XP to your quests, and no longer having a weekly win reward. You can get the same rewards for playing two days a week.
That's simply not true.

It's also okay to not be super far ahead in levels right away (or ever). You have at least a couple months to get into the higher levels. It isn't a race. You have plenty of time. If you're playing a couple times a week you'll be perfectly fine. :s

"you'll be perfectly fine" as in you can still easily hit level 100 or as in you will still hit level 80ish?

There is NOT a 1000xp daily cap.

Can we earn more than 1000 xp each day? if yes, please tell us.
Yes? You can complete all of your quests in one day and earn 2400xp in addition to your three daily wins.
As you said, if I complete my quests in one day plus 3 wins. Which means that I haven't touched the game the previous 2 days...
In a span of 3 days, I can earn up to 3000xp. Can I earn more? NO.
Today I finished everything, reached 1000xp. Can I earn more? NO.
if this isn't a limit, I don't know how else we can describe it.
There is not a 1000 xp cap on any given day, that's all that was being said. There are limits on how many thi...

Damn the community is so negative you actually have to request nice words. I wonder how many crybabies are whining and insulting the customer support and spamming tickets right now.
It must be tough. You are all doing a good job

No, my community is typically an absolute joy. Everything is sunshine, memes, and constructive feedback 99.99% of the time. I was asking for nice words because it selfishly brights MY day to know that some niceness out in the world. :slightly_smiling_face:

(And no, I didn't mean this sarcastically. The MTG Arena community is a super positive and helpful community.)

@Spell Binder:

Good feedback! We should not be forced to play special events in order to reach level 100 to achieve all of the rewards in the Master Pass. The xp given for wins should be greater than the current system. A good number of people would like to be able to grind more xp in one day and maybe take some days off. Freedom of choice and all that. Since one win gives 100 xp and wins 2 & 3 give 50 xp each, I think it is reasonable if wins 4 through 15 give 25 xp each.
Then we have a similar structure to our previous daily rewards up to 15 wins. This would allow a maximum of 1300 xp per day and level 100 could be achieved in less than 80 days by a dedicated player without using special events. As a result, the xp awarded in the special events could be reduced slightly to compensate. The special event xp should be thought of as more of a replacement for days that players aren’t able to log in and get their daily xp.
If devs feel that 25 xp ...

Yesterday during the server issues I was on of the initial people to use the DNS work around to get into the game before the warnings of gem purchasing issues started popping up. While I was logged in I purchased 100 dollars worth of gems, which never were credited to my account. I reached out to customer support and they said the gems would be returned or I would be refunded when the figure it out, but I havent recieved any information since and I have been unable to find anything on the forums or the MTGA twitter. Im not looking to complain just looking for a possible timeline or additional info if its possible. [[58194,users]] please bless my post with an answer.

Then they haven't figured it out yet or started returning items. As you can imagine they have MANY tickets to go through and are working on it. Have patience, please. :slightly_smiling_face:
