As mentioned above, it may be that Dark Omens needs to be completed. Try running it again.

Hello! Are any other errors displayed on-screen, other than the crash report produced?

Hi @PsychoDad ,

Looking at your logs, you’re encountering three different errors. A non-descript Access Violation crash and two others, Illegal instruction and Breakpoint, which can be a little notorious. I’ve passed your logs along to our development team to take a deeper look.

In the meantime, it is worth running through some general crash solutions that have worked for other players here, which may help to improve stability:

But why?
Is there a specific reason?

It’s just a design choice.

@SirKruber do you have an example of how it used to sound you can find? I’m coming up short in my research and I’m being quizzed hard by our sound designers!

Me and a friend rolled our charms a combined number of around 600 times and couldn’t get this combination

Can confirm - not a possible combination!

Hello, is he using Avast, AVG, SpyBot or 360 Total Security Anti-Virus?

It’s one of those notorious ‘Deadlock’ crashes we’re looking in to. Working on it!

So Dame’s explanation above is correct regarding losing your installation, the PC losing responsiveness however is something we’re noticing more of recently. If on Windows 10, could you please navigate to ‘Settings’ -> ‘About’ and share with me your ‘OS Build’ number please? We’re looking in to an increase of players reporting that their PC is crashing and are wondering if it has anything to do with the latest Windows update.

Unfortunately, your PC does not appear to meet the minimum requirements for Vermintide 2, which is resulting in the crashes you’re experiencing. The minimum requirements for Vermintide 2 are:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1) or 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 @ 2.80 GHz / AMD FX-4350 @ 4.2 GHz
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5870
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 65 GB available space

In this situation we can only recommend that you submit a refund request via the Steam client. Apologies for any disappointment caused.

I’ve queried this with development! Thank you for reporting.

The ‘untrusted’ error is produced as a result of your installation being corrupt/incomplete. :frowning:

It’s unfortunate that none of our solutions worked for you. We are limited in what else we can recommend here. Would you like me to contact Steam and request that they issue you a refund?

Thank you @Harridas, added to our database.

I can see it’s one of our notorious ‘Deadlock’ crashes. We’re looking in to it - apologies for the inconvenience.

We reported this up a few times, but we could never find a repro for it weirdly. We’ve been given the steps countless times but for whatever reason it doesn’t happen for us :expressionless:

I’ve raised a bug for the missing “boom” though, I doubt it’s intended.

Sorry to hear this. Could you also provide the corresponding console log, please?
