Unfortunately, your Intel® UHD Graphics 630 does not meet the minimum requirements for Vermintide 2.

Easy Anti-Cheat have identified and resolved the cause of the BSODs in a new update of theirs. We’ll be putting it live as soon as we can.

Did you remove EasyAntiCheat.sys before, or did you leave it?

Is your Windows instance weird in any way? (i.e. beta-build, developer-build, not an activated instance of windows, etc?)

Just to be clear, the BSOD is a consequence of the kernel driver EasyAntiCheat.sys somehow mismatching with your system (could be wrong version of the driver, modified windows kernel (such as a insider ring build), or something external causing the mismatch (such as overheating)).

Technically, this is (basically) the order of things when you start the game:

• The launcher starts
• You press play, which launches the actual game
• The actual game, during launch, loads EasyAntiCheat_x86.dll (which resides in the game folder in steam, i.e. if you install the game again you will get a new version of this file)
• EasyAntiCheat_x86.dll in turn loads the EasyAntiCheat.sys-driver, which resides...

Try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count down to 6 within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu.

Empty slots in the UI are not indicative of available space unfortunately. You’ll need to remove some items.

Ty for the additional info. I dug a bit in my logs and it does look like EAC starts fine, but there is some communication error between game and EAC.

I.e. game starts EAC, says awesome, I started EAC. EAC says, awesome I’m running. Game says sad-face, I can’t find EAC-process. EAC says awesome, I’m running and getting no errors and so forth, and EAC quits nicely when I end the game.

Anyhow, back to what I’m paid to do…

The chaos warrior splash screen (as pictured, ignore the error, just a google find) is the EAC launcher/moment when EAC initialises.

Users can use the bypass launcher option and still enter the game in a trusted state.

Also - see what happens if you lower your ‘Worker Thread’ count to 6 within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu. Although this is related to the operation of your CPU, annoyingly, CPU-related issues can produce GPU-related errors.

EAC loads fine with Vermintide 2, but says that the game is in an untrusted state. I wonder if that has to do with that I have to bypass...

If you only get this issue when connecting to another player, then you are accidentally in the Modded realm, instead of the Official realm, like Julia said.

If you get this issue no matter what you do when you open the game, then it’s possible you have a mod enabled that used to be sanctioned, but no longer is. Disable all mods and see if that works. (Or unsubscribe from all mods)
