They should make it all year as well as adding in other weather as well. Simple changes to the lightning that I watched them do on stream in less than a hour while showing off the map editing tools. Give us a morning sun map, night, rain and storms, foggy, etc.
Then for Halloween, they can do actual events, like the one with the wraith chasing you now. Maybe next year they could do a Jason themed one, with an immortal Chaos warrior in a hockey mask chasing you down. There’s ton’s of things they can do for events. For Christmas, give us presents, red weapons or cosmetics, e...
Read moreYou’re correct in that this is GPU-related, we have some other potential solutions for this issue listed here.
This is a mod-related crash. Please disable your mods until the mod authors have released updates for them to be compatible with the latest patch.
Hah, it’s really obvious now you say that. Thank you.
Could you elaborate please - is there an invisible wall blocking your path, or is it the case that one of the walls has no collision (can be walked through, etc.)?
I understand that, but why make it so 50% of the time players deal with the worse lighting and worse gameplay experience? This sort of thing should be left to the modded realm.
Warhammer has brighter settings. I don’t get why people think everything in Warhammer has to be dark, dark, and darker.
I wouldn’t want them all the time. At first, it’s really neat to have the change and see this darkness. It can be enjoyable for a bit, but would easily become an issue.
A lot of time, I’m sure, was spent on lighting and color for the game so players see things really pop on our screen and can differentiate better the things on our screen(like their adjustments to Beastmen so we can tell them apart better). Or to really highlight various parts of the map and give a specific feel and tone as the characters play each map.
The darkness and fog causes everything to darken, muddling everything our eyes see. It also muddles all the hard work put into the original design. This in turn causes enemies to blend in more with the map and each other and makes it more challenging for player’s eyes to pick up on different things. The feel and tone of each map is diminished as everything just plays with the same look. The designs they chose to use begin to lose their effect or lose it ...
Read moreWell, one positive thing. Noticing a improvement in performance with the last 2 patches. GPU doesn’t even break 50C anymore, around 65% usage in game.
@Fatshark_Hedge What are the chances of these maps sticking around?
I made a thread about this last year as well.
Read moreWe’re looking in to this Toastklotzi. You said your friend has the frame, what’s his Gamertag, we’d like to check out what’s going on if possible.
One of our Game Designers has confirmed this has always been the case and is not a bug.
Woah, I had no idea it was even possible to do that as a non-dev user, we’ve sorted that out now.
Anyhow, I’ve raised the original issue with development.
The previous one Adeon.
Geheimnisnacht is the most ill-omened night of the year and with both Mannslieb and Morrslieb full in the sky only the strong and brave dare venture into the dark. During Geheimnisnacht it’s said that the veil between the living and the dead is thinner, and it’s the perfect time to visit the Gardens of Morr to pay homage to the ancestors.
Geheimnisnacht will be live for PC, Xbox One and PS4 between October 28th until November 5th.
Once again during the seasonal event of Geheimnisnacht, all of the outdoor adventure levels will be bathed in darkness, with only the light cast by Mannslieb and Morrslieb to guide your steps. Players on both PC and Console will be able to experience the Geheimnisnac...
Turns out it wasn’t Hedge, so must have been somebody from development. Will look in to it.
@mr_sp1ce I didn’t mark this as not a bug myself, summoning @Fatshark_Hedge who may know more.
We support traditional XInput devices, so most compatible devices should work.
It’s my understanding that you can play all PS4 and Steam games in VR if you’d like to, but you will experience them as if they were projected on a large screen rather than real VR.
I’m not sure about Leap Motion, unfortunately.
This is intentional, at this time. Feedback is appreciated and will be considered however.
If a talent affects melee weapons (in this case, one handed or dual one-handed weapon picks) then it wont affect ranged weapons, which the throwing axes are considered to be.
