Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Dev Tracker

There are honestly so many variables between each PC there is no miracle one-shot panacea (I wish there was) but the most reliable recommendation from players has been to dramatically lower your ‘Worker Thread’ count via the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu.

Ultimately we need to fix the game. Our developers are working round the clock to make that happen.

It seems you ran into an Access Violation crash, though one that has only two total occurrences - so a very uncommon one.

I’ve added this to our database as well, and we’ll look into it.

It’s a shot in the dark, but it may be worth Verifying Integrity of Game Files

1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

We’re working with our hardware partners to resolve these as a top priority at the moment.

Please try adding exceptions for -

• ‘Darktide.exe’ in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\binaries

• ‘EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe’ in Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS

We’re contending with some issues with the soundtrack once more. We’re working on it!

Usually this error occurs due to Anti-Virus or Firewall conflictions.
