Can you try temporarily hooking your PC up to a mobile data connection and see if you can then connect to Twitch? This can help in isolating the issue.

Lowering Worker Threads to 1 certainly isn’t ideal, and it isn’t a guaranteed crash fix.

Changing Worker Threads will have a different outcome for each individual system. Lowering all the way 1 will certainly impact performance - I’d recommend lowering your Worker Threads by less than this.

As for the crashing, please provide us with a crash report or console log so we can take a look!

2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Launch steam as an administrator. it sounds like there’s a permissions issue if no darktide launcher log is being written

Check if your anti-virus has the game whitelisted. its possible your AV is constantly file locking which is contributing to long load times

Ensure you’ve set your laptop to use the Nvidia card via the Nvidia Control Panel

Also launch steam as an admin and then re-verify your game data

On GamePass when you launch the game ensure you’re letting the firewall rules add the game as an outbound connection
