I’ve raised this with our developers. Thank you.

The live release and experimental branch should all be on the same version. So you can continue to play on either.

Just double-checking that we remembered to update experimental too!

So to address the missing content, I’m still chasing up that info. It’ll take a bit to sync with the teams, but we ARE looking into it, and once I have that info (as well as answers to the other questions), we’ll have a post out about it so it’s spread wide rather than piecemeal in posts, discord messages, etc. I know it’s frustrating waiting, but we are chasing these questions up and not intentionally ignoring you all.

Hi @orvis25,

Your default GPU is currently set to AMD Radeon™ Graphics. Which is likely resulting in your crashes as it cannot handle the demand. Do you have another GPU that isn’t being detected?

The config files and other files in C:\Users\Eric\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide should not be read-only or protected in any way. This is like the scratch-pad the game needs to have read-write access to. I would really suggest that you try deleting that whole folder.-

Hi @Pauet

Unfortunately, this is likely the case, as Intel Graphics Iris Xe is substantially below the minimum requirement for Darktide.

The minimum requirements for Darktide are:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 (64 bit) / Windows 11 (64 bit)
  • Processor: Intel i5-6600 (3.30GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (3.4 GHz)
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 OR AMD Radeon RX 570
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

If you aren’t sure whether a component meets the mini...

Are you still encountering these crashes after the latest update today?

If so, can you please provide a crash report, or your latest console logs for us to take a look?

I actually believe we have a patch tomorrow, but I haven’t seen the patch notes yet, so to be on the safe side I’d rather give a rough estimate. I’ll loop back around if this specific bug fix is in it.

Also, feel free to critique the game and what you’re unhappy with, but be kind to each other, you’re all part of the same community and strife among yourselves just bodes ill will.

I think this crash has been resolved in our latest update.

Please let me know if this isn’t the case and it persists!

This isn’t forgotten, but as you can imagine we are juggling many things and these all need prioritizing. This specific crash is being experienced by a very small number of the playerbase, but it doesn’t mean we are ignoring it.

The issue is currently assigned to a developer and due to be looked at very soon. I can’t give an ETA right now, but fixes are coming as swiftly as we can manage!
