In the upcoming Danger Zone update, Israeli helicopters come to War Thunder! A few words on history, initial line-up and the first look on the new to the game light attack helicopter MD 500 TOW.


In 1975 the Israeli Air Force received its first batch of 6 American Bell AH-1G Cobra strike helicopters, previously used in Vietnam. Israeli pilots enthusiastically began to master a new type of military aircraft and nicknamed the American helicopters Tzefa - “Palestine viper” - after the largest poisonous snake in the region. A little later, the AH-1G was replaced by the AH-1S equipped with anti-tank missiles, and the Hughes MD500 TOW light helicopters, also equipped with ATGMs to destroy armored vehicles. No but seriously, yes we always plan to improve upon our graphics. I can't give any spesific details about our future plans with regards to invidual things, but it's an ongoing goal.

It's not really anything to do with being "too strong" at this stage.


Currently the developers have plans and some further development they want to work on regarding aviation HUDs and other features too. But the suggestion (and feedback on the matter) is well known to the developers and has been passed again recently

Ground vehicles
  • In the marker-less game modes, 1st generation ATGMs do not fall on the ground anymore when switching to binoculars.
  • Sho't — a bug has been fixed with the minimal gun depression angle over the engine compartment. The minimal angle has been corrected from +5 to 0 degrees (report[community.gaijin.net])
Aircraft
  • F-104S.ASA — a bug has been fixed with a missed gun in custom weapon presets in xray mode.

No I'm not a consultant. I just happen to sometimes visit museums in the UK to collect photos of vehciles for the developers to use. But it's also inlcuded non British aircraft too like the F-4J and Mystere IV as well as others.

That would be a fake. As evident by the fact the stat card mentions the 88mm KwK43 of the Panther II we had in game when this fake model has a 75mm.


Someone probably just made a visual mod.

The 540lb bomb configuration does not yet exist in game for these aircraft. The suggestion for it has been forwarded, therefor this suggestion is deferred until such a time that weaponry exists in game on the Phantoms:

The developers first want to check the statistics and review game balance to see how the landscape is before issuing new top missiles.

TLDR, that^. Essentially the same philosophy with the E-100 and Maus.

There are quite a few other tanks, albeit quite a bit less prominent, that pretty much need to be played the same way (Like the French B1's, early Churchills (imo), etc.
