We have not pushed the patch back at all. No idea where that came from.

It seems you dont play or have any experience with any other free-to-play MMOs. You are comparing paid or singular release games to progressive live service games that are just constantly evolving.

Its planned to be published soon when its intended and we are not going to fastrack or rush it because a few people read an incomplete datamine and are jumping to conclusions. Its exactly why we tell people not to read too much into data mines and how they cant be relied on for the full picture.

Games dont have betas for each and every content patch they have.

1) Most developers dont have dev servers like we do. Those that do, generally have smaller content patches with less things overall.

2) Nobody is denying a Battle Pass is coming. The fact of the matter of it is, no details whatsoever are known properly yet, and people are simply reacting to those two words alone with no facts at all.

3) Some people will be mad at whatever we do regardless of weather or not they see the facts and full details or not. Right now absolutely nothing official about the context, details and terms of this have been announced. Battle passes are actually hugely successful in most games just an FYI.

Im not really sure where you get this "incomplete existence" from. We are not taking anything away here. We are adding this system in on top of all of the other events, prizes and specials we already have. We are not deducting something and then trying to ask people to pay to get it back. This is new additional feature on top of everything else which has a multitude of free content without the need to purcahse anything if you dont want too.

It does not detract from your gameplay experience if you don't purcahse it, it does not ruin your game if you dont take part at all.

Its all entirely additional content with tons of free parts too.

What we can see in this thread is exactly the reason we tell people not to take datamines as final, finished or as fact. People are jumping to conclusions based off mined lines of code and hypothesis. Nothing more.

Warbonds will still exist, but the system overall is changing. Official news will come soon.

We dont dev server any events of any kind. Internal testing is more than enough to ensure the interface works.

Its hardly a game changing matter that needs mass testing of an interface development.

It will be within this patch cycle.

This is nothing new and exactly why we always say all content on dev servers and their patch notes is not final and subject to change. The same patch last year for example, we had the FGR.2 and 2 MiG-21s added that were not shown on dev servers because they were not ready in time for dev but were in time for the patch.

If by "discussions" you mean the people who saw 2 words (Battle Pass) and instantly jumped the conclusion based on absolute zero official facts relating to War Thunder and claimed the apocalypse was now because of a single incomplete datamine, it actually shows nothing at all. Its a knee jerk reaction to something not officially announced at all with no details, no facts and no context at all.

Its indicative of nothing.

I think if you actually look at every one of those cases, you will find its for other reasons, not a Battle Pass. The fact they happen to also have a battle pass but also did other things that perhaps frustrated their players is not connected. But a quick look at gaming news on those games will show you very clearly what people take issues with.

This is a brand new and sizeable feature, which very clearly is going to be a new development for the game. Its not something your just going to open the game one day and its suddenly there and you heard nothing about it.

It will be officially announced, when its finished and ready in full.

need to datamine this because its for an update not even released yet.

We dont update the dev server changelog each and every single time its updated because its a work in progress sever and not the final patch form yet. We wait until the update is either A) Final or B) Another dev server.

You also left out the part where all of them also have a plethora of entirely free content on top of everything else the game offers.

Again. Nothing has been announced yet and people are forming conclusions entirely incorrectly without any of the correct info yet, based entirely off an unofficial datamine before any annocuemnts.

Im not quite sure where you got this from. Black Ops, Modern Warfare, Rocket League, World of Tanks, Fortnight, PUBG just to name but a few.

People don't like something we have not even announced, said anything remotely official or even had a chance to show or explain yet.

If we didn't introduce a feature, vehicle or something based entirely off of people knee-jerk reacting at the mere sight of something, nothing would get added.

Once again, you are basing this off data mines only without any official announcement.
