When first introduced in Legion, the Mage Tower challenged players to conquer unique solo class-specific encounters. Now the Tower is open once again, bringing back the excitement with all-new rewards to obtain, and a chance to prove your tenacity. Are you a master of your class? It's time to put your knowledge and skill to the test once more!

UPDATE: When we originally developed the Legion Timewalking Bonus Event, we were looking for other fun features from Legion we could add to it. Timeworn Keystones were part of that, and the Mage Tower as well.

Having heard feedback and seen how it has played out, we agree that a personal skill challenge being available only for a short window of time every few months isn't in the spirit of these types of events. As such, starting on the week of March 29, the Mage Tower will be accessible at any time, no longer tied to the Legion Timewalking Bonus Event.

This Week: Arena Skirmishes

All week, from anywhere in Azeroth, open the Group Finder (default hotkey: i), select the Player vs. Player tab on the bottom of the window, and then under Casual, choose Arena Skirmish and JOIN BATTLE. You’ll be matched up with teammates and provided with opponents to kill in the Arena. You can also queue for a Premade group or create your own group within the Premade tab. 

Look for the following all week long:

• A quest in Oribos awaits you, or if you forget to pick it up there, you can start it from within the Adventure Journal.
  • Quest requirement: Win 10 Arena PvP Skirmishes
  • Reward: A PvP loot box
• Passive buff: +50% honor gains from Skirmishes

Dungeon and Raid Updates

• All Outland dungeons now have been adjusted to their final, reduced difficulty state.
• Heroic dungeon keys now require Honored reputation (down from Revered).
• Zephyr has made her way to the World’s End Tavern in Shattrath City, offering players who are Revered with Keepers of Time a free teleport to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris.

Since our first Shadowlands update on accessibility, the team has been hard at work building new accessibility options and improving existing ones.

We hope to continue to build features that ensure the adventures in the Shadowlands and beyond are truly epic for everyone. All accessibility options can be found in the Interface panel of the Game Menu (default hotkey: Escape).

NEW: Unit Frame Mouseover Cast

Enable this option in the Interface panel under Combat. Once enabled, mousing over a unit frame and casting a spell will cast it directly on that unit without having it targeted.

Prime your minds for an especially tangled chrono-spatial conundrum: Warlords of Draenor Timewalking is here!

Players will be able to adventure into six of Warlords of Draenor’s dungeons to reap new rewards all week during this week’s Bonus Event. Your character and items will be scaled down to a power level fitting for the challenge at hand, but bosses will yield loot appropriate for your regular level. Timewalking dungeons also have a chance to drop items that usually drop when you run them on Heroic, and you’ll earn reputation with a faction that is interested in the dungeon.

Where: Queue for the 6-player scenario at your friendly neighborhood transmog NPC.
What: Contestants will have two minutes to create transmog sets from items in their collection based on themes presented in the scenario. Two players at a time will be pulled up on stage to strike a pose and show off their creation—leaving the remaining four to vote on just who of the two has managed to capture the theme best.

With the start of Shadowlands Season 3, players will have an opportunity to start collecting an all-new 5-piece Class Set, which will confer you wondrous bonuses based on your specialization when you equip two or four pieces of the set.

Sepulcher of the First Ones

There are several ways to acquire set pieces. The first one is to defeat bosses in the new Sepulcher of the First Ones raid in any difficulty. The following bosses can drop set pieces:

• Halondrus, the Reclaimer (Legs)
• Lihuvim, Principal Architect (Hands)
• Anduin Wrynn (Head)
• Lords of Dread (Shoulders)
• Rygelon (Chest)

Note:The Lords of Dread and Rygelon bosses will not be available when Season 3 begins, and will become available the following week with the launch of Mythic difficulty for Sepulcher of the First Ones.
