Tucked away in the fabric of the Shadowlands itself lies Zereth Mortis. Created by the First Ones as a workshop to forge afterlives, its denizens—the automa—have built all that exists in the Shadowlands. It is an otherworldly location that defies all concepts of reality or physics.

It's here in this strange land that you'll meet new allies, delve into the runic and lyrical language of the automa, and engage in the campaign to push back the Jailer's forces before he reaches his end goal within the Sepulcher of the First Ones.

Gather your party and discover exotic wares and strange creatures in Heroic Difficulty Tazavesh: the Veiled Market with the start of Shadowlands Season 3. Set in a bazaar of the mysterious brokers, you’ll face off against dastardly assassins, four-armed broker guards, an infinite pirate dragon, and other enemies as you chase down a wayward broker before she can unleash the might of a stolen artifact to realize her own designs.

Heroic Difficulty Tazavesh, the Veiled Market is accessible by using Group Finder (I). Players will find this dungeon split into two parts—Streets of Wonder and So'leah's Gambit. You'll need to have an item level of 185 to queue.

The Forge of the Afterlives is a powerful instrument of creation and all that remains of the First Ones. Just as it creates new realms for the Shadowlands, Synthesis Forges have been used to create the entities that populate those realms. With reagents collected as you explore Zereth Mortis, you’ll be able to start crafting some Zereth Mortis-themed mounts and battle pets.

There are over fifty mounts and battle pets to add to your collection, and each requires components gathered from across Zereth Mortis to craft. Crafting components are easy to distinguish and labeled with Protoform Synthesis, but you’ll first need to unlock one or both Synthesis Forges to see and collect any of these components and schematics.

The halls of Torghast continue to shift, revealing new passageways where the Jailer's forces are gathering to halt your efforts. Overcome increasingly complex challenges while ascending the Jailer's Gauntlet and be rewarded with unique items, including a battle pet and mount.

The New Jailer's Gauntlet Awaits

There are no requirements to defy the challenges held within the Jailer's Gauntlet, and this new mode is available to all max-level Maw Walkers. Completing each Layer within its diabolical halls will grant you valuable one-time rewards such as the Lightless Tormentor Battle Pet, Gauntlet Runner title, Colossal Ebonclaw Mawrat mount, and Dominated Hearthstone toy!

With 2022 starting up, it’s time to make some plans for the new year. The WoW® Esports team is happy to share some of our exciting 2022 plans for Arena World Championship, Mythic Dungeon International, and Classic Arena Tournament!

In 2021, we sought to rethink and expand what competitive World of Warcraft® could mean with expanded Arena World Championship Cups, the new Burning Crusade Classic Arena Tournament, and the introduction of new formats to the Mythic Dungeon International. For 2022, our philosophy is to iterate and improve throughout the year to constantly expand on what makes WoW Esports a community that everyone can be proud to be a part of.
