Today, several Classic-focused members of the WoW Community Council met with Wrath Classic devs to talk about the next phase of Wrath Classic (Ulduar).

The discussion covered expectations for the PTR, which is now open, a new system coming in this phase called Titan Rune Dungeons, and changes to Ulduar that we’re going to test – specifically the details around “pre-nerf” Ulduar.

Known Issues
Updated November 22, 2022

• Most Gossip text options on NPCs don’t function currently. Notable examples include setting your hearthstone location, or resurrecting at the spirit healer.
• If a character uses Body Type 2 and has the effects of “Human Illusion” in the Culling of Stratholme, that character will not have their appearance changed when becoming a Zombie while the dungeon has Defense Protocol Alpha active.
• You may receive an interface error when changing tracking options on the minimap, and nodes and objects of the new selection will not properly appear on the minimap.
• You may receive an interface error when opening the guild bank.
• You may receive an interface error when opening the guild bank tab rename interface.
• The oceans are missing in the Blood Elf and Draenei Starting zones, as ...

Titan Rune Dungeons have been added to Wrath of the Lich King Classic and are now available for testing.

To access this feature, enter any level 80 heroic dungeon and interact with the Mysterious Titanic Relic floating near the entrance.

All five members of your group channeling the Relic will cause all enemies in the dungeon to gain additional health and damage, as well as additional effects, depending on the dungeon.

Gear that formerly dropped in Normal 10-player versions of Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and The Obsidian Sanctum can now drop from dungeon bosses when they’re under the effects of the Mysterious Titanic Relic.

In order to facilitate testing of Titan Rune Dungeons, we’ve wiped the PTR of all existing characters, and we’ve disabled the character copy function.

Our intent is to do our initial round of testing with less-geared characters. We’re specifically looking for feedback around how these dungeons feel in mostly blue/heroic gear.
