Greetings! We just pushed a new client build out to the Battle.net Desktop App, build 46157, that should re-enable the Bug Report & Feedback tool. Sorry it took so long!

We’re still investigating into a potential issue with it on the Valdrakken realm, but it’s definitely working on the Tyrhold and Koranos realms.

Have a great weekend everybody, and thanks for all the testing!

We’re testing a hotfix for Taste for Blood talent to improve its timing.

This change should make Rank 3 of the talent trigger every 6 seconds, instead of sometimes taking 9 seconds to trigger. Other ranks have the same change, but aren’t guaranteed to happen, and so are less noticeable.

We’re expecting to apply it to the live game early next week.

We dug into this, and we’ve determined that it is not a bug.

The tooltip says: Your melee hits have a 9% chance of allowing the use of Execute regardless of the target’s health state. In addition, you keep at least 10 rage after using Execute.

But it should say: Your melee hits have a 9% chance of allowing the use of Execute regardless of the target’s health state. In addition, you keep at least 10 rage after using a Sudden Death Execute.

We’re looking into updating the tooltip.

Here are the recent hotfixes to Wrath Classic:

OCTOBER 14, 2022

Wrath of the Lich King Classic

  • Deep Wounds no longer triggers from non-Physical damage, such as the Fiery Weapon enchant.
    • Developers’ note: Warriors have recently discovered that with the changes to Critical Strike Rating in Wrath, they can now get critical hits on spells quite often, and that those spell critical hits trigger Deep Wounds. Prior to Wrath, Warriors did not get increased spell critical chance from their gear. This discovery has resulted in players changing their enchantments on weapons to low-level enchantments that don’t do much damage, but can trigger Deep Wounds and gain a significant damage increase over intended level 70-80 enchantments. Deep Wounds was never intended to benefit from these enchantments. Because of how Deep Wounds works, this advantage would continue to grow as Warriors gain better gear with more Critical Strike...

With the Dragonflight pre-expansion patch, the powers on the gear will be disabled. That’s the only change being made to that gear. You’ll still acquire that gear and upgrade it in the same ways in the future as you do today, and the Catalyst will remain in place as before.

With the initial release of the Dragonflight pre-expansion patch (version 10.0.0), class set bonuses from Eternity’s End (9.2) will be marked Legacy, effectively disabling them in combat.

While it’s routine for us to mark older set bonuses as Legacy, we do not normally take this step so soon after they were acquired. Unfortunately, the extent of class changes coming in the pre-patch is an exceptional circumstance that has led to this decision.

In the future, it is not our intention to repeat this timing when marking class sets as Legacy.

To account for the removal of set bonuses and addition of the new talent trees, game content will be re-tuned in 10.0.0 so that difficulty remains relatively the same.

We’re continuing to make class tuning adjustments based on our observations, the data we’re getting from Beta, recent Beta raid testing, and player feedback.

In addition to new and returning abilities, the new talent trees allow players to choose abilities that were previously exclusive to one another in the talent row system. In many cases, we need to adjust the impact of these abilities to hit our throughput targets for Dragonflight.

The following adjustments are being applied, or have been applied already, to the Dragonflight Beta and PTR via hotfixes, for ...

Today, we’ve added a tabard to Wrath Classic for Deadly Gladiators. This will be only purchasable during Arena Season 5 (the now current season).

You’ll find it on all three of the expected vendors: Nargle Lashcord (Dalaran), Kezzik the Striker (Area 52), and Argex Irongut (Gadgetzan). It costs 550 Arena Points and requires an Arena Rating of 2300 in any Arena team-size bracket.

Good luck becoming deadly, gladiators!

Greetings! We just brought our Beta realms back online and they appear much more stable than yesterday, but we’ll keep monitoring as more players log on. (I don’t want to jinx it!)

Additionally, we’ve pushed out a new client build this morning (46092) that should unblock Mac users from being able to update/launch the Beta.

Lastly, we’re aware that Bug/Feedback reporter is broken right now, we’re working on a fix for that and hopefully will have it deployed sometime later today or early tomorrow. We’re additionally working on some fixes to a few Profession UI elements and will try to hotfix those in but I don’t have an ETA for that just quite yet.

Thanks for being flexible everybody! Have a great day <3
