Bobby’s Thinking Cap Notes has been restored.
Some players may have gotten these notes a day early. We put out a quick fix yesterday to address bags that had this item locked in them. Today, the notes were restored so players could read them and complete the secret with its clue.
On the PTR, Icecrown Citadel is now closed. We’re very pleased with the results of this test period.
Looking ahead, we plan to next test Random Dungeon Finder and Defense Protocol: Gamma, starting in a few days. Yes, we’re working on making Defense Protocol: Gamma queueable from the Random Dungeon Finder.
And our plan is to open a second test of ICC on September 15. That one will run through September 20.

Beginning on August 31, players will be tasked with putting on their thinking caps to uncover who is behind a recent string of artifact thefts through a variety of daily clues, with the last clue revealing itself on September 13. You’ll need to keep your eyes peeled for daily secrets and tantalizing new rumors and even play a little ‘follow the leader’ with some of your favorite community creators to discover some of the secrets Azeroth has to offer.

Roughly 24 hours ago, we implemented a fix that should prevent this bug from affecting characters who log in thereafter.
For all the characters who were affected before the fix, we’re running a fixup job at this time. Those players should see the correction over the next few hours/days.

This quest appears to be operating as it always has. It takes a very long time to reset, but it does reset. Our best advice is to do it in a group, and wait patiently for it to reset for you.
You might have a better time of it during off-hours when there are fewer other groups around.

There are gates in front of ICC and the Frozen Halls (where the three dungeons are) that cannot be opened currently.
We’ve set up an NPC at Krasus’ landing that will port you into ICC. Peletort can also be found just outside of ICC.
In addition to Icecrown Citadel, we have several other features which will soon become testable, and others that will arrive in a future PTR update.
Testing begins at 2:00 p.m. PDT. The raid will close at 2:00 p.m. PDT on Friday, September 1.
We’ve opened the 3.4.3 PTR for preliminary testing.

The end of August also means the Trading Post will be changing out its wares on September 1; this includes the addition of new class sets for Paladins, Priests, and Rogues. Make sure you get in those last-minute purchases before the new stock arrives.
Update: The Kalimdor Cup is being extended an additional week; players can dash, dodge, and dive through the skies until September 4.

With a total of sixteen races spread across Kalimdor, dragonriders will have a skyfull of options for challenging courses in Normal, Advanced, and Reverse variations. Head to Valdrakken and speak to Lord Andestrasz near the Rostrum of Transformation to pick up the initial quest.
