Today, we’ve updated the Cataclysm Beta to build 53973, which includes the 80-85 Cataclysm leveling experience, the character copy function, and templates to get you straight into the endgame.

At this time, the following features have been added:

You’re correct.

The intention is for the party lead to be the pilot. The bug has resulted in the same player in a Duo always being put in the pilot’s seat.

We actually fixed this bug a couple of days ago, but the fix won’t fix things until we do realm restarts.

So-- probably after scheduled weekly maintenance on Tuesday, you’ll see that the Leader is always piloting the bird.

My people, this has been corrected now. We SHALL be counted.

• Fixed bugs causing mounts related to A World Awoken to be unavailable, including Bestowed Ottuk Vanguard, Bestowed Trawling Mammoth, Bestowed Thunderspine Packleader, Bestowed Sandskimmer, Bestowed Ohuna Spotter, Coralscale Salamanther, Stormtouched Bruffalon, and Taivan.

• Fixed an issue that prevented Splintered Sparks of Dreams from dropping from PvP sources while eligible for catch-up.

Plunderstorm

• The Storm’s fury swells! Lightning strikes during the final stage of the Storm are faster and more dangerous than before.
• There is now a delay of 20 seconds after being revived where players no longer drop collected Plunder.

Dragonflight Season 4 dungeon testing begins on PTR realms today. The test period will begin today, Tuesday March 26, and end Monday April 1 at 10:00 a.m. PDT (13:00 EDT, 18:00 CEST). Please note that the test period may be adjusted in the event of technical difficulties.

We’re working on fixing bugs that emerged following the recent bugfix we did on these issues.

Simply put, the achievements are not properly rewarding a number of things, such as mounts and the dragonriding manuscript.

This is a priority for us. We’ll note it for you once it’s really, actually fixed.

Today, with hotfixes that are all now live, we’ve made the following adjustments to offensive and utility abilities in Plunderstorm:

• Fire Whirl damage reduced by 20%.
  • Developers’ notes: we want to reign in Fire Whirl’s damage a bit more, so that it’s close to the performance of other offensive spells.
• Faeform now provides a 50% damage reduction for the first 1 second you’re in Faeform (was 90%).
  • Developers’ notes: Faeform offered too much defense without providing for counterplay.
• Rime Arrow cooldown increased at higher ranks, and now has a cooldown of 10/8.5/7/5.5 seconds (was 10/8/6/4 seconds).
  • Developers’ notes: Rime Arrow’s short cooldown made it a too-low-risk poke, often used to deny healing and chase fleeing targets. Increasing the cooldown at higher ranks will give targets more chances to act against Rime Arrow.
