Chat Moderation Changes:

• In-game Kick, Ban, and Spam Flush messages will now be handled as a system notification instead of a private message. We are in the process of reviewing the human element of our in-game chat moderation. You can read the details here:

• Improved the accuracy of the in-game FPS counter and made made numerous improvements to the Max Framerate setting as described here:
• Made numerous optimizations to enemy/NPC navigation and included additional optimizations for modern CPUs with F16C instructions
• Tweaked audio delay to Eudico’s Bounty transmission. 
• Tweaked audio of Nef’s billboard lines. 
• Enthrall can now be used while on Ziplines. 
• Mining results now use the themed resource icon if available.

Hi all -- yes, the most recent update did cause some issues. The update has been rolled back currently (meaning no Garuda tags are available at the moment), and we will be further investigating the cause of this problem.

I've had a small hobby project that I've been working on now and then over the last few weeks. I was trying to improve part of the engine that has largely been unchanged for 15 years and some people thought I was crazy for even caring about it. Lucky for me they put up with my obsessions around here and the results of my work is coming soon to a build near you.

TLDR: the FPS counter in game is now more accurate and if you use the Max Framerate setting instead of Vertical Sync you may notice a smoother experience when you're running fast enough to hit the cap.

Let me start by explaining why I even care about this, and to do that I need to tell you about my craptop. My play time is split between my high-end PC and super low-end laptops that don't even have a discrete graphics processors. I've been living in this dual universe for about 5 years now and has been extremely helpful for testing graphics scaling options and has motivated plenty of optimizations...

Garuda Files are officially available in the Steam Workshop! Before you ask -- yes, her claws are included! 

Much like Revenant, she is made using new tech, so there are some missing textures in her ZIP file. It’s on you as the creator to make these maps yourself without any reference files.

Below is a list of what is included in the ZIP: 

• Normal
• Emissive
• Tintmask
• Body, Helmet, and Claw meshes

To be clear, you are expected to still make the specular, roughness and diffuse maps -- we simply can’t send you a reference for comparison.
