woah that must be a busy weekend! For that cost you'd be better off just paying for the higher tier premium hotels for the express pass!

You can routinely find Adventura, Dockside or Surfside for under $150. Also the Cabana Bay family suites are $150-200 and great size w/ a mini fridge and sink. As others have said it might make sense to look into the premiere hotels for their express pass being included. Royal Pacific is my favorite due to the food, the location and the pool that your 5 year old will love.

Q1 Roadmap

As we discussed last year, we have a big year planned for 2024. We recently updated our public facing roadmap. https://trello.com/b/RgnuBh4m/wayfinder-roadmap

We also discussed a lot of these systems, as well as introduced you to faces behind the Discord names you see on our final 2023 dev stream we had last month. If you haven’t seen that yet you can view it here: ...

Hello Wayfinders and Happy New Year! The team is back and recharged from the holidays, and we are ready to introduce the next set of features into Wayfinder!

We discussed at the end of last year having more meaningful updates faster, and this is the first real test of that adjusted philosophy where we are releasing content a little earlier than “done” so we can solicit feedback before fully releasing it.

The goal of working alongside all of our players remains the same: Make sure things are both functioning as well as fun and rewarding. Going forward, we’ll be calling these events/features in this state “Previews.”

The Job Board Preview is LIVE! The goal of the Job Board Preview is to provide players with another source of XP for the player’s Wayfinder and Weapon, as well as their Reward Tower. It’s also a place where you can get some memory fragments, gloomstone shards, dyes, cosmetics, and more!

Do you find jobs fun? Do you have ideas for j... Read more

We have specifically designed these to be mindful of players time, and they do not require you feeling like you have a second job to be rewarded with cool things.

One note I corrected today. The raid is 4 bosses not 5.

Reviewing the logs, you were banned for being timed out 7 times by various people - which includes trolling, racist comments, and hostility towards other players. Not criticism towards us.

99% of the time a take like this is because it’s new and people don’t know it. They just hate on it or ban it immediately. Happened with Emerald and happened with labs.

This is the 1% exception though (without the hyperbole that the person who made it should be fired and exiled). I’ve played this map probably a dozen times this last week and still have absolutely no idea where anything is. It’s too big and too much of it looks the same. The basement is the worst offender in my opinion.

Hey! I am pretty annoyed with the http failure also. I am using Cloudflare WARP and I am able to play, but without it I can't even play 10-15 minutes, and I have this problem, on 3 different networks.

The thing is that this issue is from the beginning and changing the DNS or using a VPN was a workaround found by players, so is kinda like since this workaround there was no intention in correcting this problem, just saying. And from my point of view me as a player shouldn't have to install any kind of 3rd party software(vpn) or do network config changes(dns) to make a game playable.

We totally agree. Sadly some of the issues you’re encountering are totally out of our control as they rely on the Digital Extremes servers and back end which we had no control over when we launched and now we really have no control over with the DE External Projects team disbanded. Not passing the buck, telling you the honest truth.

As a player you don’t care WHO owns something being broken… you just want to play Wayfinder and we get it. We’re working on a solution now as we continue to transition services. We hope to make meaningful progress when we return next week and we’ll start doing fast smaller hot fixes each week to address performance in the client and on the network.

At the start of this week, he sent a ticket to support and I believe he also sent a message to Snarf on Discord. We are aware that you guys are taking your week off, so we aren't worried about not being responded. Seeing you answer some posts on Reddit, I'm wondering, should I tell him to talk to you on Discord or we are better off waiting for the team to get back , so it is properly solved?

Sorry that happened. Sadly this has to be handled through support. If it isn’t solved in the next day or so, please message me but I do not have the ability right now but I can follow up with people.

HTTP failure is a general connection issue where you can’t get to our servers. It’s something we’re investigating but the DNS does solve it for a lot of people.

The 14% load issue we are aware of and planning a fix after the holidays. The game is basically trying to send you to a server that doesn’t exist.

Thanks for trying our game and sticking with us during EA. Our teams will be on it first thing in the new year.
