Majority of my day today has been based around documenting and replying to AL feedback, I got chu.

It is entirely possible in the future as we did do something similar with the first part of the AL colab.

Unfortunately I can't comment on future sales within the premium store (and in this case, I literally do not know what is planned).

Heyo RayearthIX

I did see your PM and its on my list to reply to, I didn't intend to get back on after work hours today but I couldn't sleep so I figured I'd jump on and answer a few threads.

To quote what I just added on another thread:

I think this is a easy to understand, this is feedback that has been passed on. Just because the captains aren't available individually/outright at the moment doesn't mean they won't be offered like that in the future (I'm not saying they will be, I'm honestly not sure, but I do recall that the first round captains were offered this way after initial release)

Unfortunately, we don't know what possible the course of action to resolve this, following the submission of the feedback from the various regions community staff, is at this stage.

However, as soon as any changes are decided upon, if they get made for this collaboration, they will be communicated through standard channels (portal / forums / social media / etc).

I will say it may take some time since this is a collaboration effort, so changes may need to be discussed with the Azur Lane IP holder (I'm really not sure how long the process would take if a change is decided upon).

As soon as we hear anything more we will be sure to communicate it onward.

Heyo Captains,

Dropping in to do a mass reply to a few different points brought up in this thread, please humor the long reply.

Regarding Turning off Anime Content:

Please recall that additional styles of content (including Anime / Space / Halloween / ETC) can be toggled off as the player desires. But turning them off in your port you will not see any of this content in your regular battles.

Simply hit the gear about your ship carousel, and hit the eyeball on the content you do not wish you have visible.

Regarding free content:

There is available free content to do with the latest iteration of Azur Lane content:

AL Commander Azuma:

She is available for completing the Azur Lane collection that is available for all commanders by simply hitting the participate button within the May...

Captains,

It is clearly stated that you have a chance of receiving any of the new AL Commanders, at no point in the article does it state you have your choice of commanders from the containers.

Regardlessly, as previously mentioned, I have summarised and passed onward the various concerns presented in this post (and others in similar topics).

Heyo Captains,

OP you are correct this is not a SIM style game, however balance is a component we are cautious of. There is a risk/reward element of CV play that is often not recognised. While yes, a CV can sit at the back of the map and stay predominantly undetected and run their planes, in return for staying in a safer position they are subject to longer flight times to get out from their CV and make attacks. So they are actually reducing their attacking capability to remain undetected. In converse, the CV captains who play *ahem* more aggressively, benefit from reduced reload times however also run the risk of being more easily detected. This inverse relationship helps keep the class balanced in regards to this.

In regards to the CV being detected upon making a drop, unfortunately does not make much sense. Looking at game design, I can't recall one scenario where throwing a grenade would leave an enemy player as detected without any line of sight....

Heyo Captains,

I'm sorry to hear about your lag issues, there can be many things that can cause lag issues in game.

Firstly, I would like to assure you we have around-the-clock monitoring of our servers to watch for technical issues that may be impacting players, recently we have had no reports or issues pertaining to lag that has been a result of our servers. When outages or issues do occur, within 30 minutes the staff are usually around to let the player base know and keep updating until the server issues is resolved.

Second, while a speed test will provide you an overview of your internet health, speed tests are generally an averaged outcome of a short period of testing that will not accurately reflect micro-disconnects that can occur which will lead to game stability issues in terms of lag. As mentioned by other players, a pingplotter test can show where connection is being compromised, often it can be a intermediary between your c...

As I mentioned, the community staff including Bted72, Sea_you, RadarX, Kami and myself are always appreciative of feedback. When it is constructive and reasonable we're more than happy to make sure it gets to the appropriate person for review. We can't promise an outcome from said feedback but we will always pass it onward.

Hopefully the availability of the two commanders which are obtainable through missions/collection is small compensation and allows you to enjoy the event even if not as much as previously.

Heyo Captains,

If you have a question or concern about a moderation activity taken against your account in-game, please submit a Support Ticket requesting information on it.

To submit a support ticket please follow the instructions here:

To avoid moderation action, I would recommend to all captains keeping your chat to appropriate terminology, avoiding derogatory communication, and keeping chat to a PG level.

Since discussing moderation action is against the forum rules I will be closing this thread.

I'm still a little timid playing up in Tier IX but the matches I've tried in the Alaska have been a lot of fun. I personally think she's really worthwhile but try it out and let us know how you feel about it.

We do understand the concern and I'm sorry this has become an issue for you. As I stated the team is looking into these issues to determine a way which will allow you to continue using the OS of your choice. For now we do ask you refrain from it until this work is complete.

We're really glad you like the port! I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about it when I first saw the concepts but now I'm using it every day. I just wish there was a way to shoo the mice because clearly the cat isn't going to do it.

The Montpelier is definitely a collaboration ship for now and while there isn't a "non AL" version available it is possible to use the ship with the Anime style content turned off. This will of course negate the permanent camo, but it will otherwise work perfectly normally.

Hey JeffKnight we did discuss having an event with the U-505 but unfortunately the logistics couldn't come together in time for this tour. We're really hopeful we can make it to the Chicago area in the future!

Hey Captains,

When I play the Blys, I rely more on starting fires than the raw damage of IFHE. We all will play ships differently but I have found the Blys to be a pretty reliable fire starter.

There are very few "must have" skills on ships. Please do make sure you take "Last Stand" =).

Personally I would go for Demo Expert and leverage setting fires but other players might have different ideas. You just need to play it and find out which way works better for you.

Hello CaptainTeddybear,

Do you happen to have an example of this? Ships that fire and are in LOS of another one of your allied ships will be spotted. Ships can go unspotted if they go behind an island and are not spotted by another one of your allied ships or planes. Ships can also go unspotted if your ship and the enemy ship move outside of firing range that you can be spotted at. Does the ship go behind a smokescreen?

Without more context or evidence it is kind of hard to determine what you are referring to.
