A player without the prerequisites to get their own supership is incredibly unlikely to purchase enough credits to bid on a supership auction. Even though this is possible, this is not a thing that would affect more than maybe 5 or 6 people at the most
Superships are not a thing you can "pay for".
You are required to have multiple Tier 10's unlocked and a massive number of credits to obtain one. Even if you were to purchse 2 tier 10's through Firepower crates or for doubloons when they are available, you would still have a grind a line to access the corresponding Supership. Free-XP'ing that line would still require you to have enough Elite XP that can be converted.
Sorry, but "buying your way to a supership" just isn't really a thing.

In fact, I agree! Many of my favorite Battleships and Cruisers are at Tier 7.
Almost every game has a "Critical Fail" mechanic.
Honestly, I kind of wish that the Juliet Charlie flag reduced detonations by 50% or 75% instead of completely...
Tiers 5-8 have been in the situation you describe for years.
Superships function as a Tier 11 in terms of how the matchmaker works. Nothing fundamental has changed and T9 are not suffering in overall performance.
T7 is still the tier that has the most difficult time being double up-tiered due to modification options and armor thresholds. T9's are, for all intents and purposes, better suited for handling superships than T7 are for handling T9.
EDIT: Also, there is nothing to "fix" in the Match-maker in this situation. T9 and T10 are not longer the protected tiers that they used to be.

The signal / camo system was far more confusing to a new player than the current system. Further, the fact that FXP and CXP were all directly tied to +XP bonuses and not independent was excruciating to most players - forcing them to go to third party sites for information on how to maximally earn FXP and CXP in matches. This needed a change. While the process of changing it may have been extremely complicated (because it's like converting from imperial to metric), that's the price to reach a simpler result.
"Zeke" in middle-management doesn't make these decisions. These are company-wide and go through many steps of trial before they get rolling.
Also, I would appreciate it if you wouldn't assume that no-one in WG plays WoWs. I have 15,000 battles from coop to Round of 16 in KOTS and regularly play Hurricane-level Clan battles. Ahskance, Legionnare, and a large part of the EU office are all excellent and experienced player...

While I understand the desire for that flexibility, that's not something we're offering in our client.
You could attempt to contact Customer Support to have them remove Doubloons from your account and add a Bonus Package to a ship as a "workaround" but that might be something they wouldn't offer?
I suppose the best solution to your situation would be for us to sell "Unattached Bonus Packages" as a thing? At the moment, I don't think we're considering doing that.

The best thing you can do when relating frustrating about Wins/Losses is to link some Replays of recent games. Try to avoid giving your best and most amazing replays, as wins mostly just tell you that you won. Linking losses can be very informative as decisions are dissected.
There are a lot of folks on this forum that would love to give help with understanding the game. Giving Replays and being open to constructive feedback is a wonderful way to improve.

The issue listed in the OP is that the player didn't see the "Bonus Package" listed in their Inventory. It's listed instead on the Tier 9 Bonus Package window, so clicking on that would show an image that lists what the player has available for the Tier:
I'm not sure I understand the issue.
If you're describing a desire to buy a Permacamo for a Tier 8 ship, the recent change has made all Camos into "Visuals". Buying a "Perma-Visual" does not include a Bonus Package so there is no conflict there in that sense.
If you requesting the ability to BUY a Tier 8 Bonus Package so you can keep the 2 unlinked ones you have... then I'm not really following. You should just be able to use a Bonus Package by linking it. If you wanted to purchase another one after you've used both your Linkable ones, the option will be there at that time.
@Maredracohas been rockin' and rollin' with the representation love. LATAM/Brazil ship suggestions should try to find their way to him as he has more direct interaction with those territories.
Do you have a link to that? If that was stated and the Leone was released at that point in time then I can raise that internally.
