10 point Commanders are 1,500 Doubloons in value, so you should expect they are "rented" as well.

In the current system XP increases Comm XP and Free XP. That's why the bonus also affects those other resource types.

FreeXP / CommXP does not affect XP, so there is no "vice versa" in this instance.

"Merging" is NOT "Stacking".

The best Bonus is taken for each Resource. If two Permacamos have the same level of Bonus, then that level is used (see the post above).

It would not provide any additional bonus over what the normal Permacamo would provide on its own.

Per our DevBlog's Conversion section, yes. An XP Bonus on a Permacamo is extrapolated out to Commander XP and Free XP as well.

Note: -10% Service Cost translates to +5% Credits

+5% Credits

+50% XP

+50% Comm XP

+50% Free XP

The best available Bonuses are used from each available area of "Credits", "XP", "Commander XP", and "Free XP".

-

The Basic Permacamo which provides -10% Service Cost and +50% XP would actually provide all the bonuses by itself.

+5% Credits (because Service Cost Conversion)

+50% XP (because it's on the base Permacamo)

+50% Comm XP (because the base Permacamo has +50% XP and that will extend out to Comm XP and Free XP)

+50% Free XP (because the base Permacamo has +50% XP and that will extend out to Comm XP and Free XP)

The first Perma-Visual is Discounted. It can be purchased separately from the Perma-Economic Bonus if you choose.

If you choose to purchase a second Perma-Visual, it would be at full, non-discounted price and would include the Perma-Economic Bonus aspect as well.

It's possible they can be in events or missions similar to how permacamos are given out now. There are no specifics to go into or anything, though.

This feels pretty tinfoil hat.

In general, free-to-play games or situations tend to have "icebreakers" in the sense that a person who is willing to spend a penny may be willing to spend a dollar. So a 200 Doubloon Perma-Visual may be an enticing first purchase for some, though you could simply get some Doubloons from playing Ranked for two sprints and just get a non-game impacting Perma-Visual for free.

The part that has Resource impact is the Perma-Economic Bonus, so this is what has the substantial portion of the Doubloon cost to it. While yes, a player who has already purchased the part which is "significantly valuable" can look at the less valuable Perma-Visuals that remain and think, "Well, I'd only buy that for 200 Doubloons". There is a clear and under...

Each ship is its own thing. The first Perma-Visual for a ship can be acquired at a discount because it's only a Visual and provides no bonuses at all. If you get a Perma-Visual/Econ Bonus for the Omaha from an event, that would mean you have a Perma-Visual for the Omaha and another would not be the first Perma-Visual for the Omaha (ie: not discounted).

Other ships are completely different ships, so acquiring something for the Omaha has no relevance regarding the Trento, for instance. The Trento would have a discount available for the first Perma-Visual, unless you have acquired a Perma-Visual through other means for the Trento.

In the current system, if you earned a Permacamo from an event but wanted a different one you would have to pay full price for it.

In the new system, it would be the same. If you have a first Perma-Visual, then any other camos would be listed at normal cost.

For a Tier 10 ship with no Perma-stuff...

You could purchase a Permanent Economic Bonus for 4,800 Doubloons.

You could purchase a Permanent Visual for 200 Doubloons (or more if natively costing more than 5,000 Doubloons)

You can't purchase a second Permanent Economic Bonus, so once you have one you simply have it. Further purchases of Perma-Visuals would be 5,000+ Doubloons though as only the first is discounted to 200.
