The answer I am able to provide is a lot less detailed. We don't have any information whether PS5 discs will work on the PS4 but my understanding is the same as CalKlein's, I don't believe they will.

If the team decide to do a beta test for Valhalla, it will be announced directly by the Assassin's Creed team via the website.
