Hey, Abbatis1! I looked over your account and I am not seeing the game on it. If you purchased it through Epic Games, were you able to install it? If it does not show up in your Epic account, please reach out to them for further assistance. If you have the game installed, please let us know what issue occurs when you try to launch it and we will be happy to investigate it.

Going by your description (greyed out in Uplay), it sounds like you're logged in with a different account now, not the one you originally activated the games on.
Could you double-check (email, username) that you're logged in with the correct account?

If you can't find the right account anymore, I'd recommend contacting our colleagues from customer support: http://support.ubi.com/en-GB/

Hi justmerkmusic, and welcome to the forums.
Looking on your account, I'm unable to see Anno 1800 on there.

When you said you were unable to acces the game store page to download it, did you mean you're unable to purchase it?
Are you able to purchase it from our webstore?

Hi all, sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue launching Anno 1800 from your Epic Games client. So we can get this looked into could we first ask that you ensure your Ubisoft and Epic Games accounts are linked as advised here and also that they are set to the same region.

If you have any problems doing this or have any further queries, please feel free to reach out to us at our social media accounts on Twitter or Facebook. Alternately, you can contact our support teams directly by creating a support ticket here.

Please note that while we would be able to assist with your Ubisoft account, we are not able to make any changes to your details stored by Epic Games and you would need to contact them directly to discuss this further.

Hi lolo_988!

I have checked your account and can see you have Uplay version of the game. You do not need Epic client to play.

Here's a thought Ubisoft, given all of the other Anno games are on Steam, no-one has the activation issue on Steam, Epic Games don't care about their (and your) customers, by allowing this issue to continue, maybe you should shift your content back to Steam and abandon the rubbish that Epic serve up.
Sorry to hear you also have the issue.

Please do try the steps mentioned by my colleage.

If you still have issues, please do reach out to our team.

Thanks!

Hey Dr_Bacon1!
Are you asked for an activation code after verifying the game files?

Hi Invictus,

I would advise you to open a ticket at our support site by scrolling down to the bottom of this page provided and clicking on the link -
https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/

If you are able to provide us with a proof of purchase of the DLC, then we can investigate this issue for you further with more detail as the DLC should have been available straight away after purchasing, it may also be that the DLC has not finished downloading yet too if it is greyed out.

My account is already linked, I tried to reinstall my Uplay to see if the game is in the Library, but it's not. Is just in the Epic Store library.

I followed the steps that you guys told in the other posts, but nothing fixed the problem.

How can I fix this? The same happened whit my Assassins Creed Odyssey.

Hey there,

Welcome to the Forums!

To correct this situation, I recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

Navigate to the Ubisoft Game Launcher cache folder, by default located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache
Please note that the Uplay client must be fully shut down at this point and not running in the background.
Open the cache folder and move the "ownership" folder to a safe location.
Once you have backed up that folder, delete the "cache" folder.
After deleting the cache folder, please verify the game files within Epic:
- Open Epic
- Navigate to the game in your Library and click the cog icon.
- Click the Verify button once the drop down menu appears.
- After verification, the launch option appears again.

If verification is not available within Epic, please install the game files in Uplay. If you need to verify the files after installation, you can do this via the following:-

- In Uplay, click on Games tab at the top of the window
- On the next screen, hover over the game tile. This will make a little arrow appear at the bottom right of the tile
- Click on this arrow to make a drop-down menu appear, then click on Verify files

When this has been completed, try launching the game again.

Let us know how you get on
