Hey everyone! Apex Legends™ Ranked designers here and we’re back to talk about Ranked Leagues Series 3 for Apex Legends. We’ll revisit our goals, talk about some results, and detail how Ranked Leagues will work when Season 4 - Assimilation launches on February 4.

• Moving to Splits per season, ~6 weeks of ranked play before a reset
• Adding Master Tier, Apex Predator becomes top 500 players by platform.
• Soft reset and scoring are the same, but soft reset is every split.

Player Level Progression Changes. Read the full notes here. ——————- - Player Level cap increased from 100 -> 500. - As the level cap at launch was 100, even if enough XP was earned to put a player above the cap prior to the change they will start at level 100 after the change. - XP required to hit level 100 has been reduced by approximately 5% to smooth out per level XP increases - Players can now earn 199 Apex Packs by level 500 (previously 45) - Level 2 - 20: One pack every level - Level 22 - 300: One pack every two levels - Level 305 - 500: One pack every five levels - You will continue to earn 600 Legend Tokens per level - Apex Packs rewards will be retroactive - Players will also earn a Player Level Gun Charm every 100 Player Levels

TL;DR + Ranked League Series 1 scoring system worked well, we’re making a few improvements. + Ranked matchmaking created really intense games, we’ll continue to improve it. + A soft reset of your rank is coming, along with some ranked cosmetic rewards.
