That would break everything that has to do with pathing, traffic lights, AI, ALL custom roads, etc. Probably not going to happen. That is a huge undertaking that i almost hope nobody would spend their time on.

"it's possible for the other limits too" I've seen you trying to help on other threads, and when it's something that has an easy answer you're more than welcome to answer. But what you said is just not true. The vehicle limit mod would be nothing like node limit mod. I'm not saying you're spreading un-truths, but that ain't it son.

If you have prop anarchy i'd recommend turning "Unhide all props on level loading" and "Anarchy always on" on in settings. Otherwise they will disappear if you edit anything within a 8 unit distance.

Short answer; no. Long answer(s); yes, but you will have to get a theme that has the same (or very similar) texture for both ruined and grass. You can also use some custom network versions of paths, like these:

Move it has a "Ghost Node" Remover function. Can recommend.

@dtshaw1 Yeah that definitely shouldn't be happening. We'd need to take a look at the save game - it's possible that there's just an odd street setup that's not working too well with the AI - but it could also be an unknown rare bug!

@Deep Blue - there are issues with Advanced Vehicle Options, and IPT2 should be fixed but there could be some things still causing problems. Any mod that's affecting transit vehicles is a high suspect for conflict right now since we added a Bus Line Customization tool to the base game

Except perhaps someone telling you about something you already know that you don’t know how to fix.

Oops, sorry, was actually talking to the guy below you. How big is your city? If you're near the agent limit, that could be a reason why service vehicles aren't spawning. That's the only issue we're aware of that's similar to yours

And then do you use mods? Might be good to double check to see if a mod conflict is the cause of the prob... Read more

If you've by chance got a screenshot of Steam telling you it was free, that would be very useful for us to send to Valve! I've never heard of this happening before

Usually that's an issue with the outside connections. Double check the map!

If issue persists and you already tried with --noWorkshop please fill out that bug report form above ^^

With the release of Campus expansion, we're here to help you with any issues you might have!

How to know if it's a mod or game issue? Simple!
  1. Go to your Steam library
  2. Right click on Cities: Skylines and select "Properties"
  3. Set Launch Options...
  4. Type in --noWorkshop
Here's a more detailed guide!

Locking this thread as we'll have an official source up shortly. I also don't really appreciate Meesmoth just copying other people's work - in this case, Avanya's list of mods.

Cities takes both .png and .jpeg for textures just fine. I've actually never used .dds. :P Resolutions should be fine and RGB should be too. Might be worth trying different settings for RGB - 8 bit, 16 bit and so on. I think there might be something with that being a problem, but I can't remember what's the default that I use.

Definitely try with the launch options. But I also wonder what format is your texture, what color settings does it use and what resolution is it. Those things could all be what's causing problems.

That's not how things work. Until there's an official patch and the version number in the bottom right of the main menu in game changes, nothing they might be working on will affect the game. CO working on a DLC will not break anything on live until the DLC is actually released and we get the free patch.

TMPE has had several updates here in March, which has more to do wi... Read more

I suggest you check out these guides. Traffic isn't broken at all and can be fixed without mods (mods just give you more options to micromanage things), but you'll need to get rid of the assumption that it works like real life. In game all drivers are the most patient people ever and don't care about being stuck in a loooong que. They just pick the fastest route as if there was no other traffic and then go. They only change lanes when they need to.

How to traffic

Are you sure you're looking in the right place? Highways have their own tab in the road menu and the 3 lane one is indeed base game and NOT from a mod.

Here's where it should be: https://i.imgur.com/VP0yJOy.jpg

We actually do exactly that in our modding beta program! This has made it much easier for modders to adjust to the new content/functionality we release as well as make completely new mods for the new content (see Parkify by Bloodypenguin!). That said it does not make everything bulletproof, some mods still need some work to be compatible with the live version. If you want to read more about the modding beta check out this thread: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/closed-modding-beta-application-info.940858/
