Thank you for this response. I am not the original poster but what I would love to hear is the main thing the team is working on for the next update. My favorite period in Clash Royale was I think December 2017 until April 2018, and not because the Clan War update got delayed a lot, what the community got of course pretty angry about, but because we knew the team was working on Clan Wars. So everyone was making expectations about how Clan Wars could look and that was on Reddit just an amazing time. That update didn't even have a lot of sneak peeks like the December 2017 update but it was still cool so sneak peeks are definitely not the most important thing for an update but at least knowing what you are working on could really help building hype up.

you're right, the balance update will drop on monday 3rd june. and the announcement will come on this friday! i'm excited/scared...

we do take community input into balance changes, but it is not the only factor. (we even had 2 polls on balance changes before that we didn't feel was the right choice to continue with)

Hey there! This happens since Goblin Brawler is oriented towards the closest tower, not bridge. I think this is rather logical, although it does look a bit weird.

However after checking, I still can see some people's best season is based on their best globe ranking, even their previous season trophy is much higher. So it is kind of confusing, as we seems have two ways to show the best season. Not able to post images in reply, otherwise I would do it.

Will the upcoming season reset make all players' best season based on their highest trophy? :O

Why this players old stats were not changed but only from people who not reached a ranking at all? In this scenario his rank is the determining factor for best season. Not trophies.

You can also look at the top players list. None of their old ranking was replaced even though they had higher trophies than before.

ahh i see what you mean. i thought you were referring to the example in your post (no ranking & higher trophies replacing lower trophies but a ranking).

the example you've just given sounds like a bug then. i'll go chat to the team and see why there is this discrepancy and if it's working as intended

hey thanks for the ping - so after checking with the rest of the team, the answer is that this isn't a bug.

trophy placement takes precedence over legacy global leaderboard rankings. it does not make sense for your best season to actually be lower than a higher result (in your screenshot, the after has higher trophies than the 'before'.)

i know people are disappointed that they lose their highest global ranking in favour of the new trophies but unfortunately it is the way that the leaderboards work - it is always based on your highest trophy ranking.
the trophy inflation through the increased leagues caused these older rankings to become smaller (even though the ranking was higher).

i definitely think that this was something we overlooked in our communication beforehand, and we could have made players aware of this before the change. that's totally on me and i apologise for that.

The addition of the sparky bot made player support unbearable, primarily since there is no player support.

That's good feedback. Sorry that we can't do more for you. We're trying to do as much as we can, but a certain level of "automation" is a necessity to keep the player support operation sustainable.

What we can do is try to improve the information that Sparky has to give.

Just wanted to confirm that this is indeed an issue only affecting certain Australian internet service providers.

It's unfortunately out of our hands, and similar to what u/AHerbKA said, it is the same issue that Germany had with an ISP a while back.
