Will this list be updated?
Or should we check the bug forum if a bug is already reported?
And I noticed sometimes the reports won‘t get flagged as „confirmed“ „duplicate“ .. or else
How do we know if you‘ve seen the report?

Keeping a public list of all reported issues requires a bit too much overhead, so the known issues list is typically limited to ones that would be particularly prominent or frustrating for players. Which is to say, yes it'll be updated but i... Read more

Hello everyone! We're releasing a hotfix today to address some of the issues with yesterday's 1.10.0 update. While we have fixes for other reported/known issues coming up shortly, we felt the ones listed below were severe enough to warrant an immediate update.

1.10.0.1 'Quill' Hotfix Changelog
  • Fixed an issue where AI rulers do not marry as much as intended.
  • Fixed an issue that removed the two buttons under the Wards tab in the character interface.
  • Fixed an issue resulting in crashes for resumed games from older versions.

As always, if you encounter any problems not listed in ... Read more

Confederate Partition auto-creates all the titles that can be created.

Check your succession screen and you'll see there are three types of partition.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of scheming, murdering people or even backmailing them, but I find that the entire process is rather tiresome and more often than not I only use hooks in order to sell them back. That is hardly as intended. Rarely do I ever tell my Spymaster do to anything else, but to chose the standard task and rarely ever do I feel the need to pressure someone. By the time I have a hook on my liege, I have won a war against him anyway. Vassal contracts? Don't really care, especially since you seem to have to alt...

It should, yes.

This is more of a heads up to users who are deliberately using OpenGL; if you're not sure what this thread means, then you're almost certainly not impacted by it.

So does asking about this on the forum. Count Heralt doesn't have a PC, now, does he?

I don't know about the glasses and the other two things are statements, not questions.

There's nothing terribly unusual about vassals that are theocracies or republics.

The birdcages seem to me to be related to the hostage-mechanic. On that note tho, unless I am missing something, we haven't heard anything about that during the DD's... Am I missing it or will the inner workings of that system be more of a suprise? (I mean the store clearly says it is still going to be included...)

Hello everyone!

We're announcing today that with the release of Wards & Wardens, Crusader Kings III will no longer support the OpenGL renderer on MacOS and Linux as we shift our focus towards better support for the Vulkan rendering API. OpenGL served us faithfully for many years now, but we believe it has been thoroughly superseded by Vulkan at this stage and our time is best spent focusing on more modern technologies.

This change will not affect the minimum requirements for Crusader Kings III going forward, but will allow existing hardware configurations to take advantage of the performance and efficiency benefits offered by Vulkan. OpenGL has effectively already been deprecated on MacOS and (to varying degrees) Linux, so by using a more modern rendering API we're able to ensure better support for these platforms going forward. MacOS players on newer ARM chipsets especially should see notable performance gains from... Read more

Villains & Vagabonds should've won dammit! I'll never forgive any of you!

Inspecta said: Since this pack also focuses on raising a child, will there be a "favoritism" mechanics?

To put it simply - you play as Denethor, you absolutely adore Boromir, but you hate Faramir with your guts, even if he's your last heir. This kind of favoritism.

Not a mechanic as such; we try to leave how much you favour your kids in the player's hands without something like a 'designate favourite kid' button or the like. It's simply easier to let the player bully their offspring in a natural and gameplay-focused manner, y'see.

BrotherJonathan said: Are you planning to rebalance any other traits with this update? Right now Shy is basically a death sentence because almost every possible action gives you stress.

We'll be accompanying this DLC with a patch as per usual so there's bits and pieces of rebalancing that'll be done, though I don't think there's anything specifically targetting Shy here. I will say we do try to keep it in mind and throw traits like Shy and Paranoid a bone when making events, however, and I can think of at least a few in this pack that are explicitly Shy-friend...
