Hello everyone!

Nice to meet all of you! A little background on me: I am Noodle, a Game Designer on CK3. I’ve been on this project since before the release of the game, but for most of its life I’ve been some delicious flavour of QA. Anyway, enough about me, I know you’re all here for more on our Event Pack!

Last time out Trin took you through some of the more mechanical changes, such as the memory system and viewer, the loyalty traits and some of our childhood event changes. Today I’ll walk you all through some of the flavour-driven content you can expect to find in the Event Pack, though we’ll also look at a neat little system we’ve mentioned in passing before towards the end.

Ah, I hadn't considered this an option before because I figured they'd get pissed and leave.

So, I can raise amenities for a "recruitment year" and then let it lapse back to normal. Excellent suggestion.

Does this have a visible impact on attracting people to court? I can never tell.

For the record, though, I am usually either low tier (because I'm just poor, so I'm struggling in other ways) or top tier. I'm never in the middle, so I can't tell if there is a progressive effect.

As I'm not addressing balance right now, the thought has not yet occurred to me.

Knights have always been a bit powerful, but I'm not ready to call them unbalanced or broken yet, as I'm not the expert. If I was the expert, I wouldn't be asking these questions. :)

I've been working with abusing Only The Strong lately to create mega-leaders that can effectively massacre armies by themselves. It's going fairly well, and following a bit of advice I've seen posted online, I've been able to accomplish a lot. But as I progress through the Middle Ages, some issues have cropped up that I'm not entirely sure how to solve. Searching online has yielded contradictory information, so I could use some help.

1) Is there any way, aside from increasing knight effectiveness, to make knights better at killing enemies in the pursuit phase? By the time I get later in the game, I can just stack wipe enemies with 40 prowess/400% knights. But in the tribal era, when facing bigger enemy armies, I can't reliably stack wipe them in the early phase, so I'd like kill more enemies during pursuit. Since I've been using MAA for basically just siege equipment, I can't stack cavalry to do this. And when I play a culture or dynasty with access ... Read more

We have seen a fair amount of reports from players not being able to play the game on PC since Fate of Iberia was released. We think we have identified the issue and are working on a fix. People who are affected are likely those with a an older set of CPUs. These issues are mostly affecting CPUs that do not offer AVX support

These are the CPUs we have identified so far:
  • Intel Pentium G4560 (2017)
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz (2009)
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.2GHz (2009)
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 970 @ 3.20GHz (12 CPUs), ~3.2GHz (2010)
  • AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 450 Processor (3 CPUs), ~3.2GHz (2010)
  • Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5675 @ 3.07GHz (24 CPUs), ~3.1GHz (2011)

Thanks for the preliminary reports about Corrupt Games, Save Issues, and New Holdings from you fine folk. These issues have been gathered up and provided to our Dev Team for investigation.

As for the inability to read the Vassals or Militias, would you be willing to provide a screen grab of that and/or some more detail?

Howdy all!

As many of you Console folk have been letting us know, there is a lot of feedback about the Console Edition of the game and we have been listening! Our Development Team has been hard at work making sure we have as many of those issues covered as possible. While not everyone will see their issue covered in this update, we have a ton of good stuff for you today.

You may have seen the more precise and condensed list on our Social Media, but as always, we have the full Changelog for everyone to view and enjoy!

Some of the highlights of this particular Update are:
- Memory Leaks being addressed which cause random crashes
- Crown Authority Issues
- Inability to change Primary Title
- Corrupted Saves when auto-saving
