As outlined in our patch notes this week, we have made some changes to Pox Hounds, and also the associated in game condition of Hunting Grounds.

We would like to run a limited time test of the new Hunting Grounds changes this weekend, and ask if you could provide feedback on the changes we have made.

Are you ready to take on the hounds again? Or are we barking up the wrong tree?

Here are the notes for Hotfix 1.0.31+ which just went live on the Microsoft Store and Steam.

  • Fixed an issue that caused memory leaks when transitioning between hub and missions (this specific fix went live on Steam yesterday and is included here for Microsoft Store).

  • Fixed crash on Microsoft Store related to fetching privileges, that had a chance to occur when entering a server with more users.

  • We will be resolving an issue where players found they had the ability to equip the Developer portrait frame for their characters. We hope you enjoyed being Fatshark developers for a day! The players who chose to equip the frame will see their equipped frame reset back to the default starting fr...

We do not support Linux so unfortunately we won’t be able to look in to this. However, I have been informed that it may help to change deadlock_detector_enabled to deadlock_detector_false in the win32_settings.ini, which can be located in Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\bundle\application_settings.

Please reinstall your drivers as opposed to updating them. A clean reinstall can work wonders.

This error usually indicates a driver issue. Can you please try a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers and see if this resolves the issue?

It's not too disimilar to Verm, where you got a box with three totally random items. Now you get 1, and currency to purchase additional ones with some agency over what those items are at a base level (curio or specific weapon type).

We just pushed out a hotfix for an emergent issue that stemmed from the ‘Blessings of the Omnissiah’ update that went out earlier today.

  • Fixed an issue where the texture streamer did not de-allocate resident part of loaded textures properly causing big memory leaks when transitioning between The Mourningstar and missions

We’re aware of other additional stability issues caused by the earlier update and are also working on fixes for those to roll out as soon as we can.
