Sorry to hear this. It’s unfortunate there is no log, did you have Darktide open at the time of writing this? I ask is the log is updated on exit.
Are there any updates available for your network adapter? Please check via Device Manager → expand the ‘Network adapters’ dropdown → right-click your network adapter and select ‘Update driver’
Rest assured this is still on our radar and we’ll soon be implementing additional logging to pin this error down.

Hi Solun. You are on a very old driver (dec 2022), and something seems to go wrong with the shader cache for you. I would suggest that you firstly update your driver and then erase everything in C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide. Or if you want to keep your settings, only erase the files ending with .pso_lib and .hans. Then run the game again.
Does this occur after selecting ‘Play’ in Steam, or in the launcher?

Haha, no worries! Your Veteran pants have been swapped out again so we can see what happens with a different cosmetic equipped. Let me know how it goes 
Thanks @Swagzu, the log unfortunately doesn’t give us anything concrete just yet. However, the developer investigating has also asked if you can do the same thing again, but also try performing any other actions (this is just to see if anything else may trigger a timeout and for comparisons in the log)
The developer has also manually switched your Veteran pants out, so we can see what happens when you try again now.
