How exactly would a 1060 6gb make you drop frames?
It's a 4 year old mid-range video card.
Yes this is already known lol
You have yet to answer why you guys chose that route?
Community servers are using a dedicated server. Same with our official ones. There is p2p planned for coop wich is steam invite only
Gonna give the benefit of the doubt and assume today’s not your best day because you’re not reading correctly.
Never once did I mention that you guys will ONLY use p2p. In fact refer to my main post which you will clearly see I said community AND p2p.
I’m still trying to figure out why you guys chose the route to not have any official servers on full release. Mind giving us some insight to the reasoning behind the decision?
TLDR; No official servers on
release of the game. Devs are going to rely on community servers and peer 2 peer connections.
“You will be able to host yourself or use any 3rd party server provider, and peer-to-peer is also planned.”
Literally found this on the FAQ in your website.
I know you guys aren’t using that for testing, it’s a given.
Not sure if you just forgot or something but you guys do plan to use p2p.
Not that it’s bad don’t get me wrong I think it’s perfect for like a couple friends but p2p alongside with unofficial servers is not gonna turn out great or as popular as it could have been.
Which is why I’m suggesting this would all be wasted potential.
I can’t find an answer as to why you guys don’t want to have official servers, what’s the reasoning behind that decision?
Point me to the text where we said that we only do p2p please
You obviously didn’t read correctly, i said AND peer 2 peer
p2p stands for peer 2 peer. Wich is something we dont use
I gotta get one of those.
Community servers dont use p2p lmao
Thank you all for your answers. But how is it though? Hows the hit registry, hows the netcode? Do players in parties tend to lag a lot like e.g. in Vlog 11 (i.e. the pants part)?
Its pretty smooth. But we havent done any huge large scale testing yet
