Currently, survivors are able to see killers perks, items, etc. once they are sacrificed. This means they are able to tell the rest of their team what the killer is using, effectively giving a huge advantage over end game perks. Would you consider changing this, so that all perks/add-ons/etc are only visible to players once the match has ended?

This is something we've wanted to do for a long time. It's in the task list but we don't know when we are going to be able to get to it.

Why are you hesitant to toss out small buffs to the worst perks frequently? What harm is there in, for example, buffing the numbers on Prove Thyself a bit?

Answer

There is larger issues that require some fixes and balance before we review the low tier perks. Once we have a good foundation, there will be place for something like a PERK REHAUL and low tier perks will get some attention.

Lore questions! I love the lore of this game.

  1. We know that the Survivors have the campfire (btw it would be neat to see the campfire area slowly evolve into something more like a lived-in camp over time), but what happens to the Killers between trials?
  2. Are the killers aware of/have met each other?
  3. Why do survivors know how to fix the generators? Is it just a case of initial trial and error + instructions from more experienced survivors, or is the knowledge gifted to them by the Entity in some way?
  4. What's it like at the campfire, now that there's a fairly big group of survivors there. How are they all getting along, any rivalries or animosity growing? Does Ace get on Nea's nerve, or David pick on Dwight etc?
  5. Can Feng Min speak english? If not, I imagine that the other survivors would have a hard time communicating with her, though she is supposedly a loner according to the benedict quote ...

  • Added loadout validation to limit the number of perks & add-ons assigned at once
  • Integrated Polish and Japanese localization (from community) (PC only)

BUG FIXES
  • Fixed an issue where a save request could result in an HTTP error (changes the format of the save game)
  • Fixed an issue causing end game analytics to not be reported properly.
  • Fixed an issue causing Nea's "Tartan Special" customization to be available by default (from the 80s Suitcase DLC)

EMBLEM SYSTEM DETAILS
Emblems are a new system to evaluate your performance during a match and gives you pips. Killers and Survivors each have 4 Emblems they can obtain during a match by performing specific actions and adopting specific behaviors. Each Emblem come in 4 qualities, and the total amount of Emblems as well as their quality determines the amount of pips the player is going to win/lose.

We are implementing this System for several reasons:
1. Separate the ranking from the Bloodpoints won : Bloodpoints is a currency dedicated to progression, and using it in order to rank players was becoming an issue. We want to be able to impact the amount of points you win without impacting your rank.
2. Have clear actionable systems to encourage interesting play : unlike the Bloodpoints, Emblems cannot be farmed. This gives us more control to assess player behaviors and reward good play, as well as encourage interactions between Survivors.

  • LIGHTBRINGER now includes Hex cleansing and exit gates opening. A passive amount of points will also be granted to all Survivors alive each time a gen is completed.
    • The idea behind it is to reward players who allow their team to do gens without doing them themselves (occupying the Killer, cleansing a hex,...)
  • UNBROKEN can now grant up to the Silver quality upon death, based on the time spent in the trial before dying.
